I will always give a business the benefit of the doubt before I submit a negative review… especially if the business is short staffed, like this Popeyes location. However, this is not the first time I have had an issue here. I have ordered food from this Popeyes probably around 10 times, and every single time, there is something wrong with my order. Most of the time, it’s something small, like missing a straw or a napkins or something. Other times, it’s something significant, like a missing food item. Annoying, yes, but people make mistakes (myself included), and I can let it go pretty easily. Today was kinda the last straw. They didn’t have the new dessert (wild berry beignets), so that was a bummer. I wanted to avoid a long wait time by going through the drive through (I literally waited in line for 40 MINUTES last time I went) so I ordered through the app, and selected the (available) option for lobby pick up. I waited for my selected time, and when I showed up, the lobby was closed due to short staffing. I got back in my car and lined up in drive through, which was 10 cars deep ?. Then I give them my order number and name. It took him a bit to find my order, but he found it (so it wasn’t even ready at my scheduled time). Then I pull up to the window, and he says “two chicken sandwiches?”, and starts to hand me the bag… nope, not my order. Then he asked me my name again. I told him, and he found my order, and handed it to me… didn’t confirm what I ordered and didn’t ask me if I needed any condiments or sparkle seasoning or anything . By the time I looked in my bag, I had moved my car forward and the car behind me took the place… so I couldn’t back up and I couldn’t go to the lobby because it was closed ? I was not going to get back in line, so I just went home. The new nuggets were good. They were nice and fresh, but I would have loved to dip them in some kind of sauce, which I wasn’t offered. Then I started eating the red beans and rice. They were DISGUSTING!! The rice was severely undercooked. It was actually crunchy and some of it was inedible. I had to throw it away. Probably the last time I will visit a Popeyes, sadly. When it’s good, it’s really good!

They always mess up the orders. It seems like they never double check the order as at least half the time the order is wrong or missing something. My delivery driver told me they had to cancel my order because my order was made completely wrong. He said that they asked them to fix it and he waited around 20 minutes contacting them and he also said they weren’t being very nice. So they wouldn’t fix it and then Uber didn’t call me when they should have. This is one of many issues I’ve had by ordering Popeyes. You guys should close until you can give serviceable food and get some decent employees because this is really bad. They have forgotten several items, one time completely missing a combo meal. They have amazing food but it’s not worth all this hassle. You guys can’t be doing this so often and expecting to keep business. Be better Popeyes. Might as well open more stores and maybe we can get a decent one.

Fast food rating scale...The person who took my order, my money and handed me my food was fast, efficient, upbeat and friendly. Five stars for her.I went there to buy chicken sandwiches because my kid said he liked them better than Chick-fil-A's. After eating one I had to disagree with him ? but it was still a good sandwich.

Always out of stuff

We overall still like Popeyes, but this location had many challenges. Despite the receipt being right there were many inconsistencies with our order. They gave us mayo when we asked for none, frozen lemonade instead of lemonade, and a sprite instead of lemonade. They were slow and seemed overall to be struggling. I tried their chicken sandwich and was unimpressed, just an overall lack of flavor, or perhaps too little sauce, it just left me under satisfied. Hopefully they get things better together for our next visit.

My biggest issue here thus far is the absence of employees. Their lobby is closed as a result and the drive thru line spills into Evergreen when it's busy! They can't even spare employees for curbside orders at this time. I'm not upset as I am able to understand being on the other end in my past. However, as long as you can bring your patience, they are a pretty good Popeyes location.

If you're going right around meal time, expect to wait quite a while. Went at 1pm and was still a long line. By 2, it was much more manageable. The line moves pretty slow too, so if there are 10 cars or so in front of you, get ready for 30 to 45 minutes just in line.With that said, the sandwich, fries, and biscuits are well worth it.

Spicy Chicken sandwich has gotten less spicy lately, and we have picked up our order there 6 times now and 3 of those times they forgot part of our order.Warning ⚠️....always check that your order is correctly filled before you leave the place!

The food is great but the service is very inconsistent. Last week, I ordered through the app and it went very smoothly. Came to location and just picked it up right away. This week, same method of ordering, but had to wait on the drive thru for almost an hour, because they didn't open the pick up counter.

Terrible and slow service. The latest time we ordered the bag they gave us felt light, so we knocked on the drive thru window to get their attention to confirm the order. They said everything was in there, but they outright lied as we only we received half of what we ordered. This wasn’t the first time they made a mistake in our order and I will never order from this place again.
