Drove by then decided to check this out based on TA reviews. Glad we did. Food was warm and the servings plentiful. Service equally friendly, fast and attentive. Great value and a huge menu. Not a restaurant for the healthy alternative crowd but excellent for non-foodies like us who enjoy a good, hearty breakfast where locals go.
This restaurant is one in a local chain of Patty's Eggnest restaurants in the Greater Seattle Area. More importantly it is one of the larger ones in terms of seating capacity. Parking is USUALLY available. You may have a problem on weekend brunch but there is a casino nearby should the lot be full. The service here is generally prompt, the food portions plentiful and the prices reasonable for what you get. The jellies and jams are excellent.
Upon walking into this place, we almost walked out. The server didn't acknowledge our presence. The cook had to tell her we were there. She appeared unhappy. There was a senior menu, which we discovered after another person came in and helped himself to a senior menu. We were the only ones in the restaurant and felt invisible. The booths were roomy but ours had a huge split in the bench where the stuffing was coming out. All this being said, when we finally got our breakfast, it was hot, tasty and the portion was ample.
Good service. Big Portions. If you leave hungry something went terribly wrong. Chicken Fried Steak is great & enough for 2 people to split.
