I used to give Outback 5 stars. I have recently had to change it to 1 star. Don't get me wrong the food is good but I ordered a "party 30oz" sirloin cut pack. Weighed it and it was less than 1lb. I ordered an add-on of asparagus for $6.99, I got a total of 4 and burnt. I added 2 potato sides at around $11 and could fit both of the potato's on one hand. To top it off added 4 Heinz 57 at a total of $2 and got all 4 as seen below. A total rip off and the customer service was by far terrible. They did not see me or acknowledge for over 10min. I payed roughly $80 for this meal to feed 3 people and it could barely feed 2. I will not be going here again.
I have to say, out visit didn't go perfect BUT the level of customer service when it didn't got them 5 stars. The food was delicious, our server was busy but still took great care of us and the manager came to us to make sure we knew he cared. Definitely going back!
Sad fricken looking meal and thanks for mixing the cheese, chives, and sour cream. I do not like sour cream so that was a waste. Oh and a microwaved potatoes to hard to eat. Just stop cooking meals already. Why is my potato absolutely covered in salt?
Do welcomed a visit to this Everett Mall way location of Outback. We have not been here since the remodeling. Its very spacious inside and felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in. The menu seemed smaller, but everything we ordered was cooked very well and seasoned well. We ordered blooming onions for the first time. Loved it, it was a bit of a heavy appetizers, but was good. Also had the 2 pork chops and sirloin steak both with a side salad and baked potato with everything on it. We had plenty of leftovers. I enjoyed my dinner and so did my partner that came along with me today. Their bar area was also very nice and roomy, from where I sat. I am glad even with the remodeling, they still have that wonderful welcoming charm, that makes you want to comes again.
Overall it was a positive experience. The drinks were good.I was disappointed with the bloomin onion it felt over cooked.Customer service was really good, my steak was undercooked and when I showed them they immediately solved the problem. 10/10Prices were good for a steak, potato, salad, and a couple of drinks.
FYI You get well you pay for. Four pork ribs (average), salad with tomatoes and cucumbers (good) brown bread loaf with whipped butter (delicious) would give food 4 stars. yet had to ask for a napkin, water, more butter mmmm. Had mixed drink, then a taster of 1 beer type, yet never got the beer I requested to go with the meal. I saw the check included the beer so asked the bartender to remove it. Granted on a Tuesday night less than 20 people in the whole bar, one waitress? helped and served my salad. Then continued her job in the restaurant. Bartender was very occupied with blending pounder glasses of beautifully colored drinks. So maybe it's me but having family members manage waiting and bartending positions with far greater crowds at Major restaurants leads me to believe Outback should consider training or hiring better... Still always tip 25-35%
Went for lunch for the first time on a couple years. Food was good but the service started out fine but was terrible by the end. We didn’t get a refill on beverages once or checked on for 30 minutes and we we super ready for the bill and to leave. I let waitress know if disappointment and offered up that they got super busy that even her boss was helping with dishes and yet we still remained unattended for 30 minutes. No offer of discount but we were offered a cheesecake for our troubles, we declined as we were so over sitting there for so long. I hope this improves but our experience was less than ideal to say the least.
The foods looks good, however, not so good for eating. My ribs were way over cooked and dry. Wife's steak and shrimp pasta was good tasting but again, her steaks was overcooked to grey. She ordered medium. There was zero tint of pink in her meats, grey and chewy. Service was excellent.
We had The Blooming Onion and it was awesome. We had chicken tender which came with 2 sides. The chicken was cooked and seasoned very nice! We had the blue cheese and pecan salad which was very good. And potato soup also very good. We had rib eye steak which was perfectly marbled and perfectly cooked. And a baked potato which was also perfect. We had iced tea and it may be a small thing but it was very good with a strong tea flavor, not watered down. The staff was helpful and nice and perfect blend of taking our order and refills and checking back if we needed anything. The owner was there that night and all I can say is "Great Job" it was a really nice Tuesday Night!
Placed a phone order for three Steak and Shrimp on the Barbie meals for $23.99 each, along with a free Blooming Onion for Veterans Day. Went to pick it up and was clobbered by the price: $159.00!!! I pointed this out to an Outback employee and showed her the picture and price from the Outback website. Ten minutes later, the man who took my order apologized and misunderstood that I wanted three Steak and Shrimp on the Barbie meals for $23.99 each, and he would correct it. Fifteen minutes later, the food comes back with the adjusted price to a more reasonable one. They apologized, but I spent twenty-five minutes waiting for them to correct the mistake. Did I get a discount for my lost time and their mistake? No. Did I get a dessert for my lost time and their mistake? No. After they said, “Happy Veterans Day!”, I informed them we would not return. EVERY TIME we have been to this Outback, they find some way to mess up our order or jack up the price beyond reason. Our home is three minutes away from this Outback and when we got home discovered all the food was cold and dry and that they had just chopped up the steak (which was also dry) they gave us and threw in the shrimp (also dry)- none of the food was on skewers like the menu showed nor was it hot and fresh. This Outback has bad order takers, cold food, dry food, and no desire to make up for their mistakes they inflict on the customer. Avoid this place! We will.
