I ordered the Salmon Benedict (this place offers a handful of wonderful and adventurous benedicts) and I was thoroughly pleased with my choice. The eggs were poached perfectly and the Salmon was smoked very well. When I was done eating I was full as can be; however, I wanted more just because of how good it was. The food did not take long to come out after ordering and the service staff was just the right amount of attentive. The price was right for the quality of the food, atmosphere, and service. Great diner and I am happy to have eaten here.

We gathered here for a family visit. The place was clean, sanitized (we watched as other tables were cleaned) and welcoming. The service was prompt and friendly without being intrusive. Our food was served hot and as ordered. We had a California omelet, a Popeye omelet and a smoked salmon benedict and we enjoyed them all. Servings were large. The coffee was fresh, the juice generous. And although there were many people there, the acoustics were such that we had no problem carrying on a conversation. thank you for providing such a nice experience.

Horrible customer service!!! We were a party 12, 3 adults and 9 children. A Mexican woman who was short of height, dark colored hair had a hair clip and a thick accent was very rude and unfriendly. She looked very irritated to see all of use. We asked if we could use two Booths instead of waiting for the large table. This place was empty so I know it could be done without violating any Covid restrictions. This women started complaining to all the other waitresses, what this woman didn’t realize is I know Spanish and I understand every disrespectful word she used. Finally a man tells this woman where would we be seated and in a very rude and irritated tone she said 6 on that side 6 on the other side , She tried to separate us and again most of the individuals in our group were children, I would not have any visual sight of my children. I know this was done intentionally. I approached another waiter and let him know I would be taking my family to another diner to eat breakfast because of the horrible customer service and such disrespect. I saw this diner on google and it looked nice so I wanted to take my family to try a new place, worst mistake of my life. We had a HORRIBLE first experience and will definitely not try this place again.

Food was good. For what appears to be a career waitress she was distracted and slow to get to our order. She forgot a condiment and didn't refill drinks. There seemed to be enough other staff there to help if she needed it. Otherwise we would dine there again.

The food is good only on occasion, and the staff is friendly unless they're more interested talking to one another then serving, and the prices are rather outrageous. The cooks don't properly mask, and I can hear them coughing back there.Went in to get some food for takeout, and the entire entryway to the restaurant smelled like a bathroom. While sitting waiting for my food, I had to struggle not to gag with the pungent smell invading my nose. By the time my food was done, I had completely lost my appetite and fought back puking. I was thankful to leave and get some fresh air. It's a theme restaurant for old timers that don't mind spending lots for middle tier food, and the atmosphere of the 1960s. But is not for anyone trying to get an affordable meal.A separate time, I once tried ordering takeout food from here before, asking for their fried mushrooms. The lady on the phone laughed like it was a ridiculous request, and when the food was picked up and paid for, I discovered they had thrown regular chopped mushrooms (like a burger topping) into a box. I felt like they had played a joke on me and I spent over 20$ for that joke.

I hate leaving less than steller reviews but I have to be honest with my reviews also. Service was really bad as I had to ask for a napkin and was never offered a refill on my drink. I actually has to flag the server down to get a napkin. Food was bland at best. For the quality of the Ruben and fries it should have been priced closer to the $12.95 mark. When paying the cashier was paying more attention to her phone than anything else. Employees sitting behind/ under the bar.

Friendly service. Big menu with breakfast all day. We always eat there when we are having our oil changed at local dealership. It's consistently good food.

Nice diner. Has a lot of tables so you don't feel so squished in like some diners do. Fast service. Good food! Nice place to have brunch

We will never, ever go back to this restaurant again. I informed the server that since I’m Gluten-free, I would neither have the salad nor soup. I just want the veggies with my grilled salmon. When I asked her what’s their veggies, she said “I think it’s green beans”. I replied that last time, they gave me peas and carrots but she immediately interrupted me, said something which I didn’t hear and left. I was so upset because the salmon tasted like it was fried instead of grilled. Also the green beans was not fully cooked. It was hard and stringy.

This has been a childhood memory for me for 16 years. I'm all grown up and I wanted to share the experience with my partner. Unfortunately it was not a good one. The food was expensive and not worthy of the price. There was only one person wearing their mask properly including the kitchen staff. My partners burger was so overdone the juiciest part was the mushrooms. My CFS was great but the mashed potatoes were so bland even pepper couldn't get me to eat more than a few bites, my order came with steamed cauliflower but they served me the end of it with a couple pieces attached (see picture). My partner doesn't like pickles so he gave his to me, unfortunately my pickle had chewy skin *ew*. My partners fries were underdone and the bacon on his burger was burnt. We did not say anything, we did not send it back we just ate what we could stomach, paid, and left. I have bragged about this place for 16 years and it is unfortunate that it seems it is no longer brag worthy.
