The prices are good, and the teriyaki chicken is the BEST in the area! The meat isn't fatty or soaked in sauce. The meat is dryer, and the sauce is on the side. Real teriyaki chicken!
The food is consistently good and the service is always great. I'm so glad they survived the pandemic because it's our favorite teriyaki place in the area!
Ordered General Tao's chicken and the spicy teriaki. Hubby liked the spicy teriyaki, but the General Tao's chicken was hard and tasted strange. Also, there was A LOT of previously frozen, peas and carrots included in my General Taos. I couldn't eat it.
Have always enjoyed this place, but tonight found 3 hairs in my teriyaki. Totally lost my appetite and my interest in going back.
This restaurant, compared to others nearby offering similar menus, has got to be THE BEST!Their vegetables are always fresh and crisp. No soggy, old broccoli here!This restaurant will make you want and crave your veggies!Miyako's is THE ONLY place I've found locally that has such fresh, high quality japanese cusine take out!
One star would be one star too many. John, the manager, decided to cancel my order and not inform me or have their 3rd party vendor inform me. So after waiting 25 minutes in my car, I waited in line to pick up with confirmation number in hand and he tells me they were too busy so he cancelled my order. But no one bothered to call me. Not John the manager who cancelled my order and not their 3rd party vendor. I notice they were taking walk-ins. They were too busy to fulfill my called in order, thru their vendor Grub Hub, but they were taking walk-ins. He had no response for this. No reasoning. Horrible customer service and filthy restaurant and kitchen that you can see from the cashier desk. Disappointing to say the least, but I probably dodged a bullet not eating there. I wouldn’t give this place any stars!
The food was plentiful. And it tasted great. Unfortunately something didn't agree with me and I got sick from it. Don't get me wrong. I loved every single bite but my stomach started feeling the effects right after I finished eating. I am giving it 2 stars because I did like the taste. The sick part took the other 3 stars. Maybe an isolated case here. I threw away most of the food which was a waste.
So, today I picked up a late lunch for my wife & I. Spent $39 for her Teriyaki Beef and Chicken, I got Teriyaki Chicken and Prawns, then a side order of Gyoza. The Only thing we liked was the Gyoza. Beef was dry/chewy, both our chickens were alsoovercooked and my "prawns" were just overcooked shrimp.. they were horrible. Were never going back.
First time trying it and I was not disappointed! Some of the BEST Teriyaki chicken and chicken Yakisoba I have ever had! Will be going back and recommend to others!
Filled too the top with food, fast and easy. The taste is amazing definitely will be coming here alot more!
