Placed an order for 2.Got no napkins no utensils no pickes and onions.Got meat plate meat was dry chunky and hard. The bread was rock hard.Baked beans lid wasn't closed spilled in bag no napkins to clean up. Went to the beach to eat and catch sunset.ended up a complete fail as I couldn't eat mac and cheese baked beans or potatoes Casarol with no utensils. Worst 50 dollors spent all went to trash. Very disappointing
Our family did not have a favourable experience. This really should not be called a BBQ store. The prices are egregious for the small portion sizes. We spent nearly $60 and not sure how. We purchased a two meat option with medium macaroni, waffle fries and two medium drinks. The side dish options were 1/4 cup of salty unflavored overcooked beans. The other 1/4 of baked beans had soft and hard beans, like they did not completely cook a batch and combined them in a pot with the most tasteless baker beans I have ever eaten. The beef brisket was three small slices of unseasoned or flavored fatty meat. It was not smoked and rendered like I cook it other establishments. Just a fatty mess of beef. The chicken which was also a 1/4 ounce of nothing I watched them take out of a warmer wrapped in plastic and sliced up. Abomination. The meat had some smoke, but no flavor and just blah. The macaroni and cheese was a pasteurized mess of noodles and no flavour. Like what part of this was a BBQ! I saw no smoker with wood bending thrown in and maintained. The only good thing out of this mess called barbeque were the waffle fries. We went home unsatisfied, with queasy stomachs and a vow to never return to this facade eatery called A BBQ. Absolutely never ever will we return. Overpriced, badly seasoned and cooked and small portions for the money spent. Still don't know how I spent $60!
I haven’t been to a Dickey’s in a hot minute, but when the baked potato cravings hit..anyway, I wasn’t super familiar with the menu and the lady working the counter was super nice and didn’t rush me along.Looked clean, smelled great!
Unfortunately this is the second time I have been incredibly disappointed with my Pork Rib meal. The small sides are too small. A large size is too large. The roll is too small. And the ribs. The ribs were awful. They do not fall off the bone. They are dry. There was no BBQ sauce to be found. I didn't realize I had to ask for pickles and onions. I did not have to ask in the past. The food was ready in zero minutes, which I find alarming. The portion of ribs would have been appreciated had they been good and if the sides were proportional enough to enjoy with the portion of meat. $19 plus $2 small soda plus tax plus tip came out to $27 for a mediocre dinner for one. I wish I had gone elsewhere and saved my money. Nothing about this tasted or reminded me of Texas. Especially the crazy price. Very disappointed. Bad value. Bad product. Only thing good I can say is that the employees are super nice and friendly.
Love this place and not just this one. All of them have consistency. Be prepared to pay but the portion and flavor is well worth it.
We order from this location often, I am always satisfied with the food we get here, even when we order through Uber Eats. Recently we ordered from Famous Dave's, to have a special birthday dinner. Never again will I order from there, I will always order from Dickey's BBQ from here on out. First I know my meal will always be good quality. Second Dickey's meat stands on its own without depending on sauces to be the primary flavor and moisture. Finally, so much more affordable especially compared to its competitors. So Quality, price, and dependability. Thank you Dickey`s for always doing you well.
Just ordered a 40 dollar amount. Got the equivalent of a 10 box from a fast food place. The food was cold, the cheese on my hot sandwich was solid. The bread was soggy. And what they refer to a birthday celebration cake was a rice crispy treat, which is bigger than the pulled pork sandwich. Will not be ordering from there any time in the new future. As a cook I am not impressed and am shocked that this level of food would be aloud out the door.
best brisket ever! brisket chili mac is a life changing experience!
It's gone down hill. Terribly. Customer service sucked. Online, then dru e thru cause Online just didn't work.
