STOP here! Trust me you won’t regret it (well, if your’e on a diet you might regret it lol). On a recent visit to the area I Spent several mornings trying to decide what to order. So I have had almond crescents, garlic and onion torte, breakfast pie, several other pastries I don’t know the name of… I can say it doesn’t matter what you pick it’s ALL delicious! Of course they have coffee, lattes and teas. All skillfully made. Milk alternatives are $1 (even for a splash).

Had high hopes! Visited for the first time and was a huge let down. Staff said the brioche was warm and fresh out of the oven, so I thought why not. Vanilla strawberry rhubarb cupcake and egg tart also looked good, so I grabbed those. I also picked up two lemon shortbread cookies. The only thing worth getting is the lemon shortbread cookies. Maybe. The brioche had wayyyy too much yeast, it completely tastes sour. Even after reheating it, it just smells so sour. Bummer on that one. The buttercream on the strawberry rhubarb cupcake is straight butter. I’m unsure if the bakers taste test batches before sending it out! The egg tart was overdone making the egg completely rubbery. We had to toss everything cause no one wanted to eat it. I am really sad by all the misses here - would love to try again but we don’t really come to Everett often. Just so happened to stop by. Really bummed by this and wish we stopped at a different bakery instead!

The service was friendly and fast. The baked goods were okay but we'd hoped for more after reading reviews, maybe it was an off day. The outdoor seating space - not sure who is responsible to clean it, needed attention, we didn't sit to eat bc it was not appetizing. The indoor seating area is not open yet, which is okay, but the area appeared cluttered with things stacked on a table and just wasn't something I expected after looking at the website.

The Quiche was flawless..loved it! HOWEVER the Date bar and Brownie was very tasty they were VERY Under Baked, the RAWNESS could be tasted..brownie was just raw goo more than half as was the Date bar bottom. I also got some lil sticky bun beadish thing that was also fantastic. I WILL try Choux Choux again...but for bread and Quiche. TY

Wife and I driving down grand ave in Everett and see the huge glass panels broadcasting French bakery. We must check it out. I have to admit, as we walked up to the door I was thinking French Bakery = small dainty portions, large dollars to pay for it. WRONG! Huge cinnamon rolls slathered with icing, big loaves of heavenly bread, big almond croissants, wonderful quiche, baguettes you will never buy enough of, layer cakes that are huge and incredibly delicious , and that rolled up thing, I can’t remember the name but it has a sausage inside a croissant pastry! It smells so good as you open the door that if they had a sign that said, “you must pay one dollar to breathe the air”, I AM PAYING !! We hit bakeries from Everett to Anacortes and this one is THE BEST ! If you love a good bakery without high falootin prices and you drive past this one without stopping in….. then you snooze, you loose!

Great bakery. Can’t go wrong with anything they make. The ham and cheese is a must try. Too delicious.

I'm pretty critical about pastries so take it with a grain of salt and definitely go give it a try for yourself. Here's my honest review of the items I tried:1. Ginger snap cookie--let's start on a high note. Absolutely tasty! It looks a bit messy but it tastes great, very flavorful, crunchy around the edges, soft and chewy near the center. I'll be visiting again just for that.2. The macarons (pictured). They look and taste like they were made in a terrible rush, or by someone who hates making them. Barely any filling at all, the shells weren't aligned, and the shells were hollow (sign of a flawed bake). Probably the worst macarons I've ever had. Go elsewhere for your mac fix.3. The tarts (I tried cranberry (pictured) and pumpkin). Too dry for me, not enough filling as it was mostly crust. Crust was overbaked. Didn't finish either...wouldn't buy again.4. Snickerdoodle was hard and the flavor was subtle. Some might like it but I prefer soft cookies.5. Blueberry pastry. It looked very pretty. The berries were tart and the cream cheese icing wasn't sweet enough to balance it out so the whole thing tasted a bit sour. The pastry itself was yummy though. I might try another kind of pastry next time.Overall, not my go to place. But lots of people seem to like them so absolutely give them a shot! Just...beware the macarons. I'd say everything but those deserve a fair chance.

I’m giving you a 2 star because I actually enjoy your baked goods, they are very delicious and I appreciate the variety. The reason for my low rating is due to the awful energy in this place set by the people running the joint. I have visited about 6-8 times now and EVERY single time the employees have been rude, cold, and very short. I have walked into this place of business in a lovely mood and walked out bothered.Small businesses be complaining about the hard times but do nothing to make their customers feel more invited. Instead of hurrying people out the door, try suggesting them to try new foods, drinks, whatever. You have a full display of baked goods that are going in the garbage at the end of the night. While you’re worried about someone taking a bite of their cookie, worry about saving your business with kindness and hospitality. If you want to feel unappreciated, get warnings for the distance you’re keeping in line, if your mask is covering your nose, and don’t you DARE take a bite of your cookie inside because their in door dining is closed, then this is the place for you. Come enjoy some good ole modern day communism.

Great French bakery, but in my opinion some of the baked goods use too much butter. The regular and chocolate croissants and pastries are fantastic, but the twice baked almond croissants and raspberry bars are just leaden and unappealing. The baguettes are beyond compare in my opinion. Perfectly yeasty and with a nice crust.

Amazing pastries, especially the croissants.
