If you go to Buzz Inn for the experience, then you went to the wrong place. There just isn't one. Having said that, if you go for a good breakfast, then you can pretty much count on getting one. The food is good and plentiful and it's somewhat reasonably priced considering you get no service at the table. Your coffee is likely to get very cold by the time someone stops by with a fill-up.
I don't like speaking bad, but there are certain times that warrant it. I used to like the Buzz Inn in Arlington back in the day, and hoped these two locations in Everett would still meet the mark. Unfortunately no. I won't speak on the other Everett location here except for their lack of service as well...We ordered, and my friend has a true celiac issue, he works through it, but without any support it's highly frustrating.. Asked for gluten free beer, provided the option of an IPA. Those aren't gluten free, adjust to a gun and tonic. No lime. Order a burger "gluten" free. Get it with no bun, but tons of cheese. With these mistakes and others one would expect something as a sorry... yeah, can't go back again.
Went for the breakfast special, which is a decent little breakfast. You have to seat yourself, carry your own drinks and number plate to the table, and that can be a little awkward, 2 waters and a coffee (since im no waitress lol., ) and I think our waitress was having a bad day. She pretty much slammed our plates down on the table, never asked if we needed anything else, and never asked to fill my coffee, which was empty like 5 minutes after being there. But like I said decent little breakfast special if your not a big eater.
Granted this is a bar/steakhouse, but there is little to be said in the way of customer service, the dining experience in this regard was similar to a fast food joint. Only interaction was ordering and having the meal brought to the table. My partner jokingly asked if we were supposed to bus our plates when we were finished. Additionally, although seasoned well, my partner ordered a medium rare steak, and a good portion of it was more on the rare side. My waffle and bacon were good, but nothing exciting.
Pretty good breakfast food, my steak and eggs were cooked perfectly - in my experience, places tend to overcook the steak but it was actually cooked well. Cocktails were tasty and came by fast. Service in the morning is pretty sparse it seems but the food came out quickly.Not sure how their lunch and dinner menu are, we'll have to come back!
Horrible customer service. Called to place a order for pick up. They told me NO! Who tells a customer no!! No, they are too busy with in house orders to do to go orders. So my money isn't as good as the people who sit down to eat? Okay, I'll never come to this location again!Called another location shortly after I called this one. They were just as busy, and they took my to go order.
Gal at counter was helpful and friendly. Got the burger lunch special which was better than Drive thru. Hubs got more of a breakfast at lunchtime which he enjoyed.
Wow we were super impressed with the food here. My mom and I both got the chicken fried steak breakfast. The hash browns, eggs and chicken fried steak were all cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. The service was super fast as well.... even though they were fairly busy. We will definitely be returning there soon!
Gave them another chance after last bad experience. Was a mistake, it is too bad because I always loved there food at this location. All 3 burgers were way over cooked to burned and and tasted like old griddle. Not to mention ordering two exact same Baja burgers and each one made with different toppings. Almost inedible still have taste of burnt griddle in my mouth as I am writing this. They must have changed management or something because went way downhill over the last year. Won’t be going back unfortunately. Really don’t like leaving bad reviews and give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but this is actually the 3rd time now that the food was either messed up or just disgusting
The most horrible food and service I have ever had at any restaurant ever! Ordered takeout for our whole family as we had the year before...The prices were at least $10 more from the online order form versus the menu they show and I was told it is a takeout fee they charge but don't tell you about. The food was horrible and management so rude when I called to complain...Needless to say we will never eat at this or any Buzz Inn EVER!
