Drove 1hr south just to dine at this Restaurant having dined there before and totally enjoyed the food (butter chicken). On this recent occasion we imagined they were swamped with their take-away orders. Being the only customers dining in at the time our waiting time to be served was too long and after having placed our order for appetizers our server said they were out of that particular dish and before we could choose another order says to us " if you're not ready to order Im quite busy in the kitchen got to take care of other orders". In all our years of dining in and around and out of the US have we ever met with such poor, negative unsatisfactory customer service. This together with our disappointing meal was enough for us not to return to this restaurant.
The only reason this is a 2 star is that the food was pretty decent. That is about the end of the positive for this place though. I submitted a carryout order at 330 in the afternoon for a 615 pickup being that this was a lunch break stop. When showing up at 615 for pickup, I waited over 5 minutes before anyone even came out of the back kitchen. The guy in front of me clearly was waiting for a while as he stepped outside to continue waiting. Then when greeted, I was told it would be a few minutes, clearly indicating to me that my order had not been started. I waited until 641 until my food was finally handed to me. I feel this would have been too long of a wait had I actually came in and sat down to order. I will only eat here again if I have half a day to waste.
Ordered the chicken tikka masala lunch box deal for delivery which included rice, naan, a samosa & a beverage and it was all so good! Plus a good deal with for the amount of food you are getting. This was my first Indian food experience and it did not disappoint! Will definitely order again in the future!
I had the lunch buffet. The butter chicken has a flavor profile similar to pizza. They even serve Flatbread to mop up all the sauce. ??
Cute little restaurant with a small buffet. Nice and cozy.
Just an outstanding experience. Food was great. Workers were attentive and quick to answer requests. This place is a well kept secret, and because of that I was able to sit and enjoy my food without rush. Absolutely loved it. I’m about to make it a routine to visit.
Ordered delivery from Uber eats. I have never had such bland Indian food in my life. The chicken Tikka masala was dry, despite the fact that the chicken should have been stewing in sauce. The sauce tasted like a tomato can, cream and masala powder thrown in. I was really hungry when ordering and so excited to try a new place, but I will never order this again. It wasn't worth the calories and we asked for an Uber eats refund and ordered pizza instead. The ordered picture below was $90 in total and not worth it at all.
Really not a fan, maybe we just ordered the wrong things here. The egg biryani was whole hard boiled eggs with little spice and really only onions as vegetables, very little flavor. The Tikka was an odd flavor and rather bland. We also had aloo gobi, naan, and the vegetarian sampler, all of which were ok but not excellent.
Food - 4/5 was pretty goodService - 0/5 literally the worst service I have ever experienced if you want to enjoy their food I strongly encourage doing take out. You will get better service at a McDonald’s.Time - 4/5 food come out in a good time
All you can eat!! 1st time here, so worth the random stop.. OMG DELICIOUS!!
