My mother and I frequent many teriyaki places since I was kid , having grown up in North Seattle and this is our go-to . Great chicken, not rubbery, charred just right ,thick sauce sweet and savory. Their rice is cooked perfectly ,you don't have half you're rice stuck to the box. My 12 yr old son wanted to try there Korean fried chicken so we gave that a shot and were not disappointed. 6 drumsticks and 4 wings for around $15. Huge pieces of crispy garlic and soy fried chicken!! Needless to say it was all devoured and was so good ? definitely a solid choice with anything from this lovely spot. The shop it's self is clean and inviting, cozy and comfortable either for dinning in or waiting on you're order. Easily 5 stars for every aspect. Trying their katsu curry chicken and fish ball appetizer today so I will b e adding to this review, though I am sure it will be delicious.
My family and I, decided to look for a new spot for take out tonight. We had seen Yummy teriyaki from Edmonds way while driving through and wanted to give it a shot. Just for context I do not really write reviews, honestly not really worth my time. But the quality and deliciousness that came out of this restaurant was awesome. Worth every single penny. We ordered one Chicken teriyaki and a half order (10 ct) of the regular chicken fingers. The teriyaki I would say was above average, it had some char from open flame and tender. What sold me was the Chicken fingers... These were incredible. They seem hand battered and supercrunchy, and perfectly cooked. These things aren't tiny either. Bravo to them we will be coming back for more! I'm looking forward to trying some of there flavored options. Also the staff is very friendly.
These guys were super friendly and I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately that wasnt the case. The food was ok. Not something I would try again. The sauces tasted all like soy sauce and the chicken was to chewy.. the cali rolls were subpar to.
Spicy chicken and gyoza is the best!
Haven’t been here years. Glad I came back. Owner was just as friendly as ever and food just like I remembered it. It definitely be working this place back into my life again
Too expensive for portion size but it tasted good
Overpriced and overcooked! Teriyaki chicken lunch was $9.87 with tax. Portions are small and the chicken was so overcooked it was difficult to chew. Not recommended!
The food was the worst I ever had! Fried rice tasted like peanut butter..idk how that happens. Chicken teriyaki was most definitely pasted the shelf date. Covered in sauce with the hint of sourness . I had shown up for an early lunch about 11am as I waited for my food I didn't hear the grill "sizzle" at all as it should when you drop raw meat. Instead I heard a microwave. I didn't eat. I didn't ask for money back. I just left. They probably need the 15.00 more than I do. Should possibly rename the store to be more honest about the food. That's definitely false advertising!
I'm a vegetarian and it's hard to find a place with good vegetarian dishes. That's why I love this place. Their tofu dishes are delicious- tofu yakisoba, tofu stir fry, and tofu plate has the most amazing sauce on top!
