Server was courteous & patient. Dining with a friend I hadn't seen in years. She drives from Bellevue because lunch at Scott's is our tradition. Food & service is always reliable & excellent.
Have been going to Scottâs for years for special occasions and decided to celebrate our upcoming babyâs arrival with a nice dinner out, and were supremely disappointed by the drastic change in quality. Spent 3 hours getting here due to ferry delays and the food was some of the worst Iâve ever had. I couldnât even eat my steak because it had no flavor and was beyond dry. The âcreamyâ mashed potatoes were in no sense of the word creamy, they were a dry clumpy mess with zero flavor that couldnât even be saved by more salt and butter. My husband ordered the âherb crustedâ Prime Rib, which was 50% gelatinous fat, and also had no flavor, no herbs, no crust. Such a disappointing experience and not worth the $170. Iâd give them a score below 1 if it werenât for the fact that the crab dip is still delicious.
We have been having meals at Scottâs bar and Grill for probably 30 years. This was the worst quality meal we have ever had from them!!! The filet mignon was tougher than a piece of Chuck steak. The prime rib 50% of it was fat. Salad was outstanding! We were warned before I took this guest out with me. I was told the service and more so the food has drastically changed and no longer a good place to go. I thought no, just some people that arenât regulars. But then I heard it from somebody else as well. A friend of mine and myself went there for my birthday. It was addressed as a birthday. Nobody acknowledged it at all. $160 meal with tip complete waste of money!! As well, you have a server, that has a beard and hair pulled back in a ponytail. Not even groom nicely. Good thing he was not our waiter, because I wouldâve refused him being our waiter. I donât have a problem with beard, I donât have a problem with long hair in a ponytail, I have a problem of their parents of looking dirty, untrimmed, and just scruffy.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Scott's Bar and Grill! We hadn't been in a long time and we decided to go out for an impromptu dinner. The food was delicious - I had the Filet Mignon and it was cooked perfectly - plus the potatoes and asparagus were wonderful. We split a Caesar Salad prior to our main course and the simplicity of it was so nice - and the dressing creamy and delicious. My husband had the full rack of ribs - his eyes were bigger than his stomach and he enjoyed plenty of leftovers the next day. Best part - the Service (Malik) was superb!
Great food, very friendly staff, a place you can dress up a bit if you want, but you can also wear casual clothes, so it's great for almost any occasion.
We had a Nice evening out. Enjoyed our meal. Will be back.
Always enjoy Scott's, and food is tops! The pea salad is my favorite!
It billed itself as a restaurant, but the quality was more like bar food. The calamari was over cooked. Overall, it was mediocre. My server was great though.
Great service and food. The crab and artichoke dip is a wonderful appetizer.
Food was good except for the âterrible riceâ that came with the salmon dinner - rice was dry, hard and tasteless. Service was just ok - not great. Server didnât know much about wine offerings. Server did not go out of her way to make the occasion special, especially when the dinner / drink tab was over $300. She put forth little effort - just enough to expect a 20% tip. Would not go back - too many other restaurants with better service for the same price.
