Staff was really friendly and space was nicely decorated but the food was a major disappointment. We ordered the French toast, eggs and sausage.. The French toast was literally just toast with fruit on it, not battered at all and it didn't seem to be the thicker bread advertised... The sausage was incredibly salty and and the eggs were only available scrabbled as they used egg beaters. They refunded our money without any questions. I hate leaving bad posts, but hopefully the critism is reason for improvement.
Just had the nicest afternoon tea here with my mom and sister. So nice to find a local place to have afternoon tea. Every single thing we ate was amazing. The tea sandwiches were delicious, the soup and salad was delicious, all of the pastries were amazing, and especially the vanilla beans was out of this world. The service was great, so glad we found this cute little shop and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely wonderful!We went for tea time and it was VERY impressive. I grew up with English grand parents & I was still VERY impressed. Great prices! They also have a wonderful coffee, breakfast and lunch options. The pastries are QUALITY and very large portions. All very well priced. I will definitely be back! ??❤️??
The service that we received was friendly. However, the place was very dirty. There was thick amounts of dust on the windows and decorations. There were many flies buzzing around. I ordered a coffee and my boyfriend ordered a sandwich. My coffee was okay. I asked how his sandwich was and he said it was okay. There is a lot of charm from the decorations. I liked the decorations and the service we received. I just feel that some cleaning needs to be done.
We love Mel and Mia's! The food is good - the menu changes, so there is always something new. The people are very nice too. The reason it gets 3 stars... its not the cleanest of places. Dried food on clean cups and the tables... dirty silverware, floors and windows. We have noticed this each time we have been there, but we continue to go back because everthing else is good. It's definitely worth a stop, just be prepared, and maybe bring some disposable utensils.
Today was my first time at Mel & Mia's for high tea, and it most certainly will not be my last! My partner and I enjoyed the tea choices and had the carrot ginger soup to start, it was amazing! The sandwiches and pastries were delicious. Before I left I ordered the cheesecake with Nutella and strawberry toppings and I must say, it's the BEST cheesecake I have ever had. Although they were really busy today, they took care of us. Thank you for the great service and wonderful experience!
They offer fantastic service and made fresh to order pastries and savory breakfasts. Fantastic atmosphere and lovely crew who works there. Would recommend!
The most delicious homemade desserts I have seen in a long time. I drove 45 minutes to go there, for the first time, with my visiting 5 year old granddaughter. It was near closing, and my granddaughter was crabby. The owners were kind and lovely to us and treated us so well. Everyone I know loves Mel and Mia’s, and now I know why :)!!!!

Best macaron I've ever had, the texture was juuuuust right. The clerk told me they make them in-house every day! They also have the cutest shop. I really want to book the Tea Room with some friends and have a whole tea party there someday. (Pictured: Maple Pecan macaroni, Rose Gold Latte)
