Awesome staff clean eating area and bathroom. food was amazing I had the short ribs and my brother had the Mediterranean. I would definitely recommend and they have there own soda.
I was wandering by and happened on this place. The flavors are amazing. Very tasty food. Try their tofu. The habanero / carob sauce was unlike anything I have had.
Excellent Saturday lunch! My husband and I shared a Trini garbanzo bean sandwich on arepas. It was delicious—piping hot and flavorful. Nicely presented too. The sandwich and house-made pickle plate made for a satisfying lunch, which we enjoyed on the front patio. We live in Seattle and wish we had a restaurant like this in town.
Interesting Cuban Sandwich - huge roast chunks - need knife and fork. The sandwich is out of balance but the ingredients are good and we enjoyed the food.
Overall maize and barley was decent. Our sandwiches were good, although a little small and didn't really fill us up, and the Jamaican pumpkin soup had great flavor. Some cons I have, besides the sandwiches being small, was that the heat lamps above us while we ate outside, didn't really provide heat at all (we had to sit outside due to their vaccine policy which although I don't support, a business can choose what policies to enforce), but we were given blankets so that helped a bit. Also we got the coconut custard and the actual custard had good flavor, but whatever topping was on it tasted like it was doused in rum or alcohol and it was overbearing. I would still recommend though because the flavors of the food were good and the guy at the front was nice and attentive
Really great little shop for vegetarian options paired an eclectic, but we'll curated, drinks list. Definitely try the house hot sauce (when we went it was a salted garlic habanero cantelope). Perfect spot for a quick stop or an extended time to catch up with friends. Staff was warm and welcoming, and we're looking forward to stopping here again soon!
Awesome and original food. Brilliant and well spiced with a hint of old Cuba blowing in the air. The arepas are authentic and divine. Go elsewhere to get run of the mill 'american mexican'. This place is delicious and different!
We loved this place! The food was delicious and they have lots of different sandwich, side, and even dessert options. And the drink menu was huge as well! The atmosphere of the place was very nice and cozy, and the staff super friendly. We will definitely be back!!
Great staff, great food, very reasonable pricing. Please support this local restaurant! We need more places like this! We tried both the steak sandwich and the cuban, both were amazing but the cuban was better.
The food portion was slightly smaller than I expected for the price and the food was average too... The restaurant was super cute but all styles no substance… This place could be fun for night hangout or date night for beers though.
