We were in a small (seats 12) private alcove for a wedding anniversary. One entire wall has an amazing painting of Frida Kahlo. There's a huge tv screen for your slide shows or videos. The food was absolutely wonderful: crispy calamari, huge taco salads and burritos, awesome chile relleno, delightful tacos, perfect fries seasoned to perfection, specialty drinks served in large, festive glasses. The service was extraordinary - helped us get our slide show loaded, accommodated particular needs and tastes, served everyone their hot, delicious meals at the same time. Out in the main room other diners came and went without disruption to us or by us to them. This is a wonderful venue, near the waterfront at the Edmonds ferry dock. Highly recommended.
Great location right next to the Edmonds ferry. Perfect for lunch during the week because it’s not busy; plenty of seating inside or out ?. Good music ? which today happened to be hip hop, and not Spanish, and Spanish music would have been fine too. Server spilled a glass of water ? on one of us so I can’t give 5-stars ⭐️ but he was very apologetic and sorry. We sat outside at Kahlo’s and enjoyed the beautiful Spring weather before we got on the ferry for Kingston. The landscaping and plants are gorgeous.
Great location with outdoor dining. Food is good but the prices are high for what you get. Chips and salsa are charged. Guacamole is pretty good but served in a dish that makes you think you are getting more. Ask for light ice in your drink or you will be disappointed. Super cool atmosphere, just need to either drop the price or increase the quantity.
Fantastic dinner with workers. Low sodium compared to most Mexican food. You can ask for their hotter salsa and be prepared for some heat. Fantastic drinks and larger portions.
Wonderful restaurant right next to the ferry landing. Food was reasonably priced and full portioned but it was the quality that blew our minds. The chili relleno is so delicate in flavor, the prawn tacos delightfully fresh. Check it out!
Upscale and modern setting. Friendly and responsive staff.Wonderful tasty food, generous portions. Coffee is substandard for the PNW. A fun place to meet with friends.
Expensive and really bland. Ordered taco salad. Was a few pieces of lettuce, no flavor pickled onions, black beans and came on a plate of broth which soaked the bottom. Ick - you’d think they’d mention that. No roasted corn as noted on the menu.Salsa was just water flavored, chips were stale. Margarita was overly tart. Server was a little rude, didn’t apparently know what was supposed to be in the dish. I asked, was told corn wasn’t in the salad though it’s on the menu.Paid $40 for the most disappointing lunch ever.Don’t recommend.

The food was pretty good. Service was horrible! Neices and nephew ordered the pancake breakfast. They brought out only the pancakes and sausage initially. We had to ask for syrup and the eggs that were supposed to come with it. After at least 30 minutes, we finally got our eggs and syrup. Unacceptable! I know, it's due to covid....blah blah blah! If you can't provide the service that guests deserve for patronizing your establishment, either lower prices, which won't happen, or close your doors until you can fully staff and provide adequate service. You're punishing your poor servers. I don't tip for bad service. Period!
