I love Ivar's because of the size of the pieces of the fish. I like that they are thick. I've also really enjoyed their fries.
Tasty place for lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere and they allow in restaurant dinning. Little pricey in my opinion for fish and chip but they can easily be split and work for two which makes it much more affordable.
I love the food, but timing is an issue. My wife orders grilled salmon and I order fish and chips. We have had it 3 times now. My food is always cold, they make it at the same time, but the salmon takes much longer. They throw the fish and chips in a bag on the counter and it sits forever waiting for the salmon . Though I am not excited for another cold meal, we will probably go again. She loves that salmon…

The staff is friendly and professional and the food is pretty good. They are also requiring masks upon entry and when a couple of unmasked customers walked in, they addressed it quickly and politely. We'll be back!
I love fish and chips. I wasn't disappointed. We also got chowder, which was very good. The employees were friendly, courteous, quick and helpful.
Love Ivar's. When we go as a family, we usually order Full Boat Special, which includes 10 pcs fish and chips, 2 cups or 1 bowl chowder, 2 cups coleslaw. Staff here are always nice. Dining room is clean. Most of the time it is not too crwded. This time, we were late. So we order takeout and ate in the car so as not to delay the staff with their closing time. The food is hot and juicy. My son also like their chowder bread bowl.
Great for fast food fish and chips. They have a really good clam chowder, too. I like to go there when I come to Seattle to visit my family.
The place is located on Edmonds Way opposite to PCC Market. There is adequate parking on the premises. Inside the place is very clean and the staff is quite courteous. Food quality is good and served without much waiting time.
