The only reason I'm giving this three stars is because the staff was incredibly polite. With that said I have no idea what dairy Queen or dairy Queen's management is up to, from having the entire sitting area closed and no signage indicating that was the case, to being about as expensive and fast as a regular restaurant and also having a system that asks for tips I'm just not sure what the point of dairy Queen is in Edmonds. There are cheaper better restaurants with real sitting areas that provide all of the same things.
Made the mistake of going to DQ tonight. Went thru the drive thru. Ordered a regular double cheese burger. The girl at the window kept telling us we ordered a deluxe double cheese. And was going to charge us for a deluxe. We finally got that corrected, was charged for the correct burger. She handed us a different burger. We went home and it turned out to be a single burger. Went back to get the right burger. With in a few seconds she handed me a new burger. Got home to eat it and it was barely warm and the meat was tough like it had been sitting there for a bit and just slapped together. What a waste of time, ended up throwing it away. Very disappointed in the whole drama, including the attitude of the employees.
I ordered in the restaurant an overly priced crispy chicken sandwich. The wait time for my sandwich was 11 minutes. Incredibly slow being that I was the only one inside that ordered and the majority of the orders coming and going for the drive thru were Blizzards. The sandwich was hot. Typically, this would be a good thing. Unfortunately, the bun was microwaved so hot that it wilted all of the lettuce. The chicken patty was crispy but very thin. I will stick to Blizzards from now on.Also, Dairy Queen will charge you 8 cents for a bag.
Arrived at 6pm was told the $6.00 Double cheeseburger meal (which is supposed to run all day at least at the other 5 locations I've been to) was not available only during lunch hours. Ended up spending $17 on a burger I didn't like and cold fries and flat soda
Good food but always an unexplained incredibly long wait. Shouldn’t be sitting in a drive thru line for 30 minutes before my order is even taken when there’s only 2 cars ahead of me. I really don’t understand and totally defeats the purpose of “fast food”
I love it all, the Wait is long at times But it's Worth it! Hamburger has an outdoor/Home Barbecue flavor That goes well with Any Blizzard of your choice.Thank you DQ!
For a fast food restaurant, they are extremely slow. Takes forever to go thru the drive through. Food is okay, but the speed at which you get your food leaves something to be desired.
The bacon cheeseburger I ordered was delicious, it had fresh vegetables on it. The service was a little slow considering no one was there when I pulled up. It was worth the wait though.
Wasn't even busy when I Came thru to order my kids an i four #4 meals size small. Got the Sundays an the drinks at the window for the Sundays not to even have a lid on them so I asked if there was a lid for them the lady seemed irritated with me that I even asked for a lid for them... She asked us to pull the car to the front as they were still preparing the food. I waited over 18 minutes an still no one brought us out food so when I called they said oh yeah it's ready I'll have someone bring it out now. After waiting allllll that time I expected my food to be super hot an fresh but sadly the fries were not even hot barely even warm at all, drinks were already watered down an the Sundays were half melted. The burgers made so sloppy and of course no napkins. Very disappointed won't be returning to this location
Seriously, whoever owns this place should restaff. I realize it's hard to find anyone who cares but I won't go to this Dairy Queen anymore. It's been disappointing, the blizzards are messy and already melted right out of the restaurant. I highly doubt they could turn these upside down. False advertising and below standard service...
