For two seconds, we were worried. We didn't see any patrons when we walked in...always a warning sign. Turns out that we came in the side entrance and they had everyone seated up front by the big picture windows. That sat us near a big window and we ordered a PERFECT breakfast. Eggs benedict, strawberry pancakes, perfect hash browns & bacon. I'd love to eat here every day and work through the menu. Perfection!
I am posting this review from a text message my father just sent to me. Please keep in mind we first started going to Claires in the 1980's.The last decade we would stop and have lunch once a month or so. It has been a year since the last patronage. My fathers text unedited." A French dip sandwich at Clare's pantry in Edmonds cost $15.Includes sandwich and a scoop of potatoes salad. The sandwich was served on a banquetU know like a French bread loaf only 2" wideSo we have a sandwich 2" wide by 5" longCoffee was $4.50 cupCup of soup $4.50We spent 2 hrs in the booth 15min to eat.Not that crowded, I wonder whyPleaseHow much longer before the place changes hands?Last visit by me, end of a Era ,sad "I am glad I was not there this time as I too would be sad.
We love Claire’s! Food is always great, service is fast and friendly. A great place for kiddos as well. It is our go-to place for breakfast with our toddler when he wakes up at an ungodly hour. :)
The chicken and waffles are perfect. The chicken is light and crispy and the waffles are so soft it disintegrates in my hand. ?Nice ambiance and friendly staff.
My husband and I recently came here on the weekend for a brunch date! I work around here + live locally and haven't been able to stop by but super happy I finally have! My husband got their BBQ pork wrap (which looked AMAZING - he loved it) and fresh fruit that was so juicy and flavorful. I got the chicken + waffles and was a tad disappointed in the amount you get considering it's $19. You get two small pieces of fried chicken (chicken strips) that are incredibly flat and skinny and one waffle that's broken up into 4 pieces. I would say it was a really skimpy amount to be charging $19 but it was still pretty good. The mimosas definitely helped me get fuller faster with the meal!
Great place for breakfast and lunch. All the usual breakfast and lunch items, served up well. Pancakes are fantastic, and so are their egg dishes. Friendly servers.
This place rocks! The French dip is awesome. The omelette is fantastic and the roasted potatoes are great! We come here all the time!
Outstanding service as usual! Only downside was the ground sirloin wasn't cooked all the way though. Definitely not a deal breaker. We will definitely be back!
Like so many places these days... labor shortage, testy staff, slow service. Used to be a favorite of our family. Hadn't been there in awhile. Passable but not my first choice with so many other options. $2.29 for a side of tartar sauce, yikes! Try the Rusty Pelican around the corner on 5th... much better all the way around
$38 for one normal breakfast! That's freaking insane. Your prices have skyrocketed! And then the lady who handed me my food expected a tip. This is ridiculous! Go someplace else. Thats outrageous! You can aways bill China for the extra cost! It's their fault!
