I have been waiting to try this new restaurant ever since it opened. I was so excited to try it out for the first time since it got great reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The menu was limited and the atmosphere was stark. I ordered a New York strip, medium, and a side salad (which is not on the menu, BTW. I have never heard a restaurant not having a appetizer salad on the menu). They served me a medium rare (border lining rare) steak that was gristly and tough. The side potatoes were dry with minimal seasoning and the the asparagus was limp and had no flavor. I also decided to "live it up" and order a dessert, chocolate cake. The cake was from a sheet pan (not layered) with amateur decorated frosting. It was dense and was something you would get at a kid's birthday party. We will not go back.
Amazing! Food is yummy! Husband said was the best salmon he has ever had.
Great steaks, cocktails, and wine selection. Menu is on the smaller side, but thatâs not a bad thing. They do what they do very well. Enjoyed our time, will definitely go back.
Everything was great except the Chocolate cake. Very dry. old maybe?
Good for meat and seafood and yummy cocktails. If you do not like meat or seafood it is not the best choice.
Had our anniversary dinner here, love the steaks! New building in quaint downtown Edmonds, nice convenient location.

First happy hour meal- was a perfect meal and ambiance. Wine by the glass list was fantastic. Our cocktails were really unique and delicious! Todays visit was with family for a birthday but I am going back with a coworker at the end of work tomorrow!
Good and drinks were excellent. A bit on the expensive side. Great staff. Ambiance wasnât what you expect for a special occasion but the food, drinks and service were justification for the high yelp ratings
Our sirloin and king salmon were outstanding. Grilled watermelon was fantastic. We are so glad we chose Charcoal for our anniversary night out and look forward to returning.
