It was June 2014 and I was playing "hookie" from work... I needed a place to sit and rest for a bit and eat a bite but i didn't want anything too heavy as it was the middle of summer and warm out... I decided on this place and had a shrimp cocktail and a lemonade. They were both delicious and went perfect with a day of walking and shopping in downtown Edmonds. Also, the staff were very nice. If i ever make it back there some day (I live in MS) I will definitely try to make it back to this restaurant to try some of the other menu items.
This is one of our favorite places. Food is always good and fresh. Service is great too! Reasonable prices!
I absolutely love this place the upside down burger was fantastic the quesadilla was phenomenal and if you have a taste for cocktails… You will love them!!The chicken quesadilla was beautiful I hated eating it because it was so much fun to look at but the flavor?? I’m sorry I’m surprised I didn’t eat the plate! Too much yumThe street tacos are a simple happy hour knockout punch! I don’t think my food lasted five minutes on the table ate it so quickly but I have to tell you the hidden secret is in the happy hour mai tai!It was delicious but I had to stop at two as I’m something of a lightweight LOL and thank God I was walkingbut the environment is incredible it’s so much fun and our server was super super good lol I’m a server but I have to tell you I would be heading my GoldMedal right on over to my server last night because she was faster than me!
Good food with big portions and the place has a great vibe…nice place to meet friends and chill.

We have been coming to Taki Tiki for more than 15 yrs. Atmosphere has always been fun, servers wonderful. On Sunday, 9/12, we were at the classic car show and decided to stop in for lunch. Our waitress returned as she couldn't read her own writing of what we ordered, did not bring us our wine, so we had to stop another server to ask for it. The waitress had her long hair loose and hanging in her face. On several occasions, she brushed her hair behind her ears, and went on with business. I am guessing she did not wash her hands every time she brushed her hair away. We asked her if she could pull her hair back as we did not want hair in our food. She brought a male server to us to say he would be taking over as "he has short hair". We felt this rude and unnecessary. With health regulations, you would think any restaurant would require their servers with long hair to have it pulled back, as to not get hair in ones food.We are a bit shocked as this has not happened in the past. Sorry to say, we will think twice before returning.
Ate outside, tables are set up on the shoulder under a covered area, the tables are not very level here so be prepared for a table leaning toward the curb.. Dog friendly, at least outside. Prices are reasonable. Food is good but not great. Y experience was with the fish and chip. One large fries fillet. I don't think this was a great way to do fried fish. It was watery and doughy. The only way I found it palatable was with the amazing tartar. The fries are good though.
Great food, great service, relaxed and cool atmosphere. The shrimp cocktail was super fresh, the quesadilla with grilled chicken was phenomenal, and the lemon cookie cake is not too be missed. Yummy wine was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to come back!

With the tropical ambiance and nice outdoor seating, this is a good choice for a stop in Edmonds. Our food was all-in-all pretty good. The menu is large and features a wide variety of cuisines. Glad to see gluten-free options, and one or two vegan options (I wish there were more though!). I had the sauté burger with a beyond patty, and no cheese. The fries were surprisingly great.Service was excellent - thanks Hannah!
