Ordered through door dash. They did not have our order ready upon arrival. Now for the food review the price for what you get is horrible way to expensive for what you get.21 dollars for sweet and sour chicken and that is all no soup side only steamed rice and sweet and sour sauce that was black and tasted off.6 premade chicken egg rolls that are deep fried for almost 20 for an appetizer is a rip offOrdered sesame chicken ended up with almond chicken and no rice to go with this dish 20 dollars as wellDinner should be a meal, soup or salad maybe a single appetizer and rice served with the portions for that price is what should happening.
I had been told they had closed but we were in the area this past weekend and noticed it was not true. We have been coming here for many years. They have the best Almond Fried Chicken, honestly everything is good. We ordered the family combo and had a lot of food to take home and the bill for all of this was $44, it's hard to buy a family meal for that anywhere. I pay a lot more. The waitress was very attentive and funny.
It's back to what it used to be, sort of. The egg rolls are generic now and the rice was over cooked so ordering extra doesn't seem worth it. $$$ The sauces, although flavorful, were thicker so it wasn't quite like the old days, but overall I'd come back after an 8 year hiatus. Online ordering has come a long way. I ordered I showed up when it said it was expected to be ready, they were packing it up and I checked out. Quite a bit more efficient, which to me, is maybe the best change they've made. Try em!
Outstanding food best Chinese ever Great people really good drinks
Been searching for good Chinese food in Seattle and finally found it!! Everything we’ve tried was delicious and their sweet and sour sauce is so unique and good. This place is the best!!!
This is NOT the same as it once was. The egg rolls were a total disappointment as were the short ribs. Special fried rice was good, but a much smaller portion. The worst part was the mushy almond fried chicken. Don’t waste your time or money. If you have been here in the past and knew how good it once was, you too will likely be let down. Can’t say I would go again
The rudest waitress in this establishments history lost a $200 food order tonight. We had a group of seven, all with vaccinations including my 10 and 14 year old grandchildren. After gladly showing our vaccination cards,(which I do appreciate), she proceeded to rudely tell us we didn’t have a reservation (never in my 40 years of going to this semi dive have we EVER needed a reservation) and there was not ONE other customer in there, except the bar. She then said “We’re not in the 1950’s anymore”. Rude. We left and spent our money elsewhere. $200 and a $45 tip she missed out on. No wonder they’re always dead in there! We’ll stick to the bar in the future.
They say the best predictor of the future is the past & this joint has effectively turned back the clock, bringing them out of the doldrums & back into the discussion. It's fair to say the food here is way above average & although the service can be a bit uneven, it merits a look-see.
What was to be a birthday dinner for my daughter and me turned out to be a disaster. I had been here about one year ago and thought the food was good. This time around was a total let down. After making the drive from Kent to Burien and spending roughly $180 (this place it much more expensive than others) all ten of us gave it a thumbs down. The chow mein was very oily/greasy and tasted like it was salted twice. The pork fried rice was also very salty. The general tso’s chicken was bitter tasting.Too far to drive back and have them try to make this right.
Wasn't impressed and expensive. Went in for dinner 90 min before they closed and the waiter was hesitant about seating us (party of 2) he suggested we do take out. Smh
