Absolutely fabulous Mexican food from the Oaxaca region. This food really had a great depth of flavor that is hard to find outside of Mexico. The counter staff was very kind and helps explain dishes. They have some of the hits that we like to have when we travel. The interior is very warm and interesting and has a shop of souvenirs, cooking equipment, and Mexican culinary items to take home. We look forward to eating our way through this menu because everything we ordered was fabulous.
If you complain there is no beef, I will feed you a sushi sandwich! Except cooked. And it will taste like Mexican sushi. But cooked...which basically means quality fish-on-a-dish. Usually with lime. Cilantro is also available. For REAL MEN (and women who want to be extra-attractive and sophisticated to anyone who has lived near the southern border. In fact, give me your number, I may need directions to your house! ?♂️ If its your girlfriend, you can give me her number instead. I will impress her by adding extra habanero, then eat a bowl of cilantro to chase down the pain. Hot is the new cool!)PS: There is a nice condiments median in the middle of the restaurant. I recommend the spiciest salsa. People who eat Seattle Mexican, then order five star spicy Thai food are HYPOCRITES! Spanish food is supposed to hurt. That's part of adapting to real life. ?)What you are really afraid of is weakness leaving the body. Confess yourself to the nearest priest. Then go to the gym, ride the unicycle, and do 3,000 genital crunches, or until your arms (and other members) grow larger. I also recommend helium to inflate your physically-connected hackey sack. Women love a man of steel! Who is not only funny, but can also protect them: so basically a clown-ninja.Anyway, I went off on a tangent. Eat at TCM. It's dynamite, if you order your meal TNT/10 on a scale of spicy! Don't melt the polar ice caps after. Seattle's very future may depend on you! ??
Chicken Empanada, Tlayuda, Cemita, Chicken Tamal, Aqua Frescas (watermelon & cucumber) were good. Got the soup and drinks right away. Had to wait awhile for the rest of the food.
This is hands down the best Mexican food in Seattle. The prices are ridiculously low and the portions are huge. Their sopa de fideo comes with the meals and its fabulous. Its very clean and the service is outstanding.
Place to enjoy oaxaca real flavor
You have to eat this food to really appreciated the delicious and unique flavores from oaxacaMexico.
I have always enjoyed my experience with Casa Mixteca Burien and eat there regularly. The service is fast and the food is top notch. Momma knows how to make fresh Chicken Taquitos, and very yummy Burritos with black beans and Carne of requested. I have never had an upset stomach after eating there and would recommend it to anyone in the Burien area looking for Mexican Authentic food made by Mom herself. Thumbs up. Thanks for the excellent food Madre.?
I’ve been trying different Mexican food restaurants all over for years and this place is one of the best. Hands down best burrito and horchata I’ve ever had, and so much more great food to choose from.
So good!!! Bought some of that green sauce for home!! Just sad we live 3 hours from this place
The food was really good and service was great.
