The waitresses were uncongenial. Never came to our table to ask if we need anything. One of them did not speak a word, just handed us our food giving empty stares and left silently. The pizza we ordered was undercooked and doughy. Very small inside and boring outside, don’t really recommend. There are much better eateries around. lol

Reliably delicious food. Large portions and rich dishes. Courteous service. Waitress left lots of space but was quick to return with any requests. On the more expensive side, especially if you order wine or plan to order dessert (easily shareable)

I decided to try this place based on the great reviews. This is in regards to their takeout since I'm a part of a COVID-cautious, disabled family with an infant at home. It might be a bit different if you dine in, but we are currently unable to do so.I ordered a regular spaghetti and bread with balsamic and oil. I expected the spaghetti to be better than most I've had. If I'm being completely honest, I enjoyed the bread more than I did the spaghetti! Don't get me wrong. The spaghetti was okay, but definitely not the best I've had.I also think $15 for the spaghetti was a little bit overpriced. I'm sure the other things on the menu are better, but as I'm disabled, there are a lot of things on the menu that I can't have, which means I would have to ask for a lot of changes to each dish, and I don't like doing that sort of thing.I also don't like writing this review, especially since the staff were super friendly, quick and polite, but I did not have the best takeout experience. I'm hoping to give it a second chance when we are able to dine in.

Food was amazing. My husband has baked spaghetti with creamy meat sauce and it was the best ever. I had Gorgonzola with wide noodles and it was absolutely delicious and piping hot! Then we topped it off with lemon cake and yep, it was delicious. Great experience and food for such a tiny gem.

Friendly staff. Great food I'm not Italian but the italians that invited me said it was very authentic ?

I’m giving this 5 stars because they have an impressive selection of gluten-free pasta. I have the mushroom stuffed ravioli in Marsala wine sauce. Excellent!

I have been here twice- once pre-covid & last night. Pre-covid was a fun night with friends in a "clam off"- who has the best steamer clams in Burien & my friends said it was Osteria. I thought it was Frankie's which is just down the street. Turns out both were excellent & different from the other. A win at both!Last night I met a different friend. My friend had the veal manicotti & I had the risotto with prawns & pancetta. I was told the manicotti was very good. I certainly enjoyed my meal. I will say if I were going to try to recreate that dish at home, I would probably add the pancetta as a generous garnish (there was plenty in it) as I found the smokiness of it to become a little one note as I ate my meal. Don't get me wrong- the last bite was still a really good bite! I would just like to try it as a singular flavor in a bite. The prawns were perfectly cooked, tender & plump. We looked at the dessert menu. If I had been with someone who wasn't watching their sugar intake, I would totally have ordered the Limoncello cake with Limoncello mascapone frosting. It sounds delightful & I do like lemon desserts.Wait staff was attentive & totally receptive to letting us chat & coming over to take our order when we put our menus on the side of the table. I appreciated that!

Food is good but staff is not friendly at all :/

So far this is my favorite place in Burien to get Italian food. They have a wood fired oven which means their pizzas are spectacular and come out perfectly. They have so many options there has to be some thing on the menu for everyone. We had a bunch of dishes including the shrimp, Salad and two pizzas. And everything was pretty delicious and traveled well as we had takeout. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Family owned, great food from real Italians
