I wanted to eat Mexican food and chosen here on Sat night. At dinner time, the restaurant was full of customers, but we got seats a few minutes later. I liked the color and atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered Pollo "A La Costa" Tender chicken strips grilled, basted with their own “La Costa” sauce, and covered with Monterey Jack cheese from House special menu and Combo #12:1 Chile Relleno, 1 Tostada, 1 Enchilada (no rice or beans). House Specialties served with rice, beans, & tortillas. Also I was quercus about Magalita in a big glass at another seat, so I ordered that too. Their famous House Margarita and Costa-Rita was a strong and 32oz size. So good to share with your partner or yourself.2 meals are ok...not really special taste or not bad. I was disappointed because I expected authentic Mexican food.
We had a 5 hour layover at SeaTac airport on our way to Hawaii. Fortunately we have some friends that live only a few minutes away who offered to pick us up and take us out to lunch off the airport property. This is one of their neighborhood favorites and after our meal there we can understand why. Meals and service were excellent and prices were very resonable. I can't remember ever having any better enchiladas than I had at my lunch here.
To be HONEST, when Your Local Mexican Restaurant has a in my opinion. A Larger serving size than the Other Mexican Restaurant (Azteca). Is Definitely smaller than the Other Mexican Restaurant and Stay's FULL alright long. It SPEAKS for itself, I REALLY LIKE La Costa's Food. You should Bring Your Self, Familia & Friends in for a Treat & GREAT FOOD, MARIACHI BAND on the Weekends I believe. HELL YES
They remind me of how Mexican restaurants used to taste like when I was a kid here, not authentic, americanized. They make excellent hard tacos and enchiladas and the staff is very friendly. The only big drawback is they don't offer chips and salsa, you have to buy separately, thus minus the star. I may comeback but other Mexican restaurant still offer chips and salsa with all meals.
Food was decent. The star of my night was our server. She was very attentive and friendly. Smiled the entire time.
Tasty American-Style Mexican food. They have “outdoor” seating which is mostly enclosed but still safer than indoors. Staff is wonderful and dishes are generous in size and bubbly-hot when they come to the table. Complimentary sides are a small salsa and small refried bean dish with fresh tortilla chips, of course. Currently they are only serving one of those per table without a charge but their sign says this is temporary because of food shortages. I hope it is temp because it’s one of the things that sets them apart from other places. I really look forward to that and just one isn’t enough for our party of four. Try their grilled steak quesadilla——totally delicious!! Really, I’ve tried much of the menu and it’s all good. Give them a try. Oh, and I can’t forget… MANGO MARGARITA!!! OMG! Best one ever!!!
Great service and food. Feel like I'm home.
Indoor & outdoor seating options. Service is stellar. Bean dip with your chips & salsa. Chix Mole is super. Love that my water glass stays full w/o having to ask.
We love LA Costa. The food is always excellent, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My favorite is the Cochinita Pibil, which is a slow cooked pork cooked over several hours. It's so tender and delicious.
Nachos were just okay. Disappointing not to have carne asada nachos. Vaccine card required to dine in.
