It seemed like it could be a pleasant experience if your of the bartenders approval. However our experience was horrifying, my girlfriend was told she should be in line ( um ok what line, there is no line here) then when I ordered a drinks for me and my girlfriend they weren't even made while the cis men were on their 3rd pitcher; will never go here again!
It's amazing how much a customer experience can affect a review. We found that both the bartenders working that night, especially the younger one were quite rude. I was a designated driver that evening, but neither of the people I had in tow had drank enough or exhibited any of the signs that warrants the type of treatment that they received. My first friend who ordered was told to get in line when they approached the bar. There was no line and there were plenty of open spots at the bar for somebody to walk up and order a drink. I know because I ordered a cola and was served right away... There was no line. I ordered another drink for my other friend and opted to get them a short instead of at tall. I guess this must have sent some bogus signal to the bartender though because after that she treated this person as if they were drunk even though I've known them for years and know they weren't even close to drunk. Literally refusinf to serve them. Meanwhile you've got a table of people screaming at the top of their lungs The lyrics to whatever song has come on, Africa by Toto, sweater by Weezer, and take on me by aha.... These folks were quite the mess and yet they were treated quite well. So ultimately despite the fact that I found the Pub's selection to be quite good and their establishment to be well decorated and arranged, the customer service was really just abysmal and it seemed as if it was towards women specifically by the women bartenders...I might return because personally I wasn't treated poorly, but I know that neither of my friends will. One of them lives down the street and this was her very first time ever patroning the place, so quite a loss imho for the business in terms of of gaining a possible repeat customer for years to come. The girls I was with are good people who know their limits, but they will totally tell everyone they know not to go here. It's just the way it will go.
The female bartender was a little weird and rude to me as soon as I sat down. The busser/ cook was very friendly. They had trivia going on which was entertaining. The fries were good. Not my favorite place ever....
Wings are to die for, but no gluten free options. I had the garbage wings, but there are like 20 varieties. Wing Wednesdays and $2 Tuesday beer nights are popular. Hard to believe it's only $2 for really great beers!
Allways wanted to try the wings here, rumored to be the best, and was not disappointed!! Also it was Thursday and there was a talented guitarist/singer/songwriter performing, Kristen Marlo, very nice, Her voice reminded me of Adel!
Great people, regulars, amazing food and drinks. Nice to stop in after work to play some pool or walk down to the boat launch after a good meal.
This is my favorite home town pub. Incredible staff, amazing food and great atmosphere. You will not regret coming here.
I had a great time until my bank account got changed fees when it went in the negative. I payed my tab ($235.00) but NO one told me they charge you twice for a “ pre-authorization“ for the estimate they think you will owe… another ($225.00). The total pulled from my account ($460.00). Now my account is negative and I got charged ($35) because they double dipped! Went out on the 17th, got charged on the 18th, got hit with the “ pre-authorization“ on the 19th. When I called I was told the it will take 5 or more days to fall off. Never coming back. We will be telling everyone about this. FYI if you go here use cash only.
I used to live here a few years ago and now we recently moved back. I’ve been thinking about these wings since I moved away and this was one of our first stops when we got back to WA. Seriously these are the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. They never miss.
