I've been able to order from there twice on their website while the kitchen was closed and was never issued a refund for either meal that never arrived.Edit (May 8 2022): I was told that I would be gotten back to about this, and I still havent, nor have recieved a refund for the food that never arrived to me. Stating this is a delivery issue doesnt fix the fact that I paid money for something that never arrived.Corey Pugh
so we are out of towners and heard this place is ok....well the ambience looked good but the food service was shotty at best...I ordered the dug out burger and it was a big fail...the bun was just a plain flour no thrill bun not a brioche...the beef was unseasoned and flavorless and no big slice of cheddar...couldn't eat it...my friend had the pastrami...3 thin slices and all bread and a little soggy...the pastrami should have been at least 3" thick for that price....not good! the prices were otta control for what you got....denny's has a cheaper better burger! apparently the owner hasn't tried the products on the menu...big mistake! Our waitress had absolutely no idea about anything we asked and she said they never trained her and you could tell she never waited a table before...why did this happen?...it's funny, the restaurant next to this place was packed and only 4 people were in the dug out? this restaurant needs a major retool in the kitchen, portion and presentation is key along with quality and quality control all lacking at this bar...that's probably why everyone was at the restaurant next door....
It's rare that i leave reviews for restaurants. It's typically when they are particularly good, or rather bad. This is unfortunately the latter. I got a dugout burger and fries for delivery. There were barely any fries with the order, and the ones i got were old/kept under a warmer far too long. Mushy and gross. I ordered the burger medium and it came well done and the whole thing was essentially flavorless. Didn't even finish the meal.This was the first time i've ordered from here, and it will be the last.
The only sandwich, in my life, I have ever spit out after attempting one bite. First time for everything. Highly recommend you eat before you come here, but the drink selection is nice!!!
I really dislike giving restaurants bad reviews but I was very disappointed. In the past I’ve gone here and it’s been great but this last recent order was so disappointing and kind of depressing. The mac n cheese had zero flavor. Absolutely so bland and the pasta was mush. The Thai PB&J burger was very overcooked and looked like it was just thrown together in a rush with no care. For as much money as these dishes cost it’s not worth it. I hope the food improves soon as I would love to go back!
Our server was amazing! He was personable, helpful, great with my son as well. The food was delicious and well prepared!
My wife and I have had dugout a few times and we usually love it. This time wasn’t as good. I ordered the fish sandwhich, which in the picture looked breaded and fried. I got the sandwhich and the fish wasn’t breaded at all, just some sort of white fish. We also ordered some buffalo nuggets with fries and there were only four nuggets and each one was poorly trimmed because there was a healthy amount of fat on them. We might give this place one more chance, but we were definitely dissatisfied today.
I went there on Thanksgiving night because I have no family in the state. They had an awesome Thanksgiving meal set out and allowed me to make a great plate to take with me on my way back to work. I I put a donation in the charity box to show my appreciation.As far as I am concerned this is a great establishment. Much appreciated.
Picking up delivery orders takes too long even when they're under 50% capacity inside. I love the idea of a pulled pork pizza I would be willing to spend more for it if the topping portion was bigger. Overall I like this place
We ordered from here for pickup medium rare steak which came burnt and definitely well done felt like I was chewing on burnt jerky! Total waste of 21$, and to top it off they forgot another item with the french dip which was au jus sauce(one of the most important ingredients for a french dip) luckily we had some at home but still come on. My husband called and they said that we could drive back which is our time being wasted and we said no so they offered us a 25% discount which would cover our gas for our next order maybe lol such a waste! Definitely won't be recommending to anyone.
