as someone who is mexican and lived in san diego and mexico for ~15 yrs, who ate tacos like every other day i can say this place was such a let down ? i expected more i heard decent things about this place and finally deicded to try it out for myself, the portions are really small, the food has barely any flavor, the meat was cold and i ate it right after it was given to me, my fav salsa is the green one and this one was not bussin. and the torta wasnt even bigger than my hand. i wear xsmall in gloves? and there was more jalepenos than meat in the torta, just overall very disappointing. im on a mission to find a decent mexican restaurant in washington.
Los Cazadores came in clutch for catering my wedding reception dinner! Our previous contact from another local Mexican restaurant had dropped off the face of the Earth a month before our wedding day, so we were in full panic mode to find another restaurant two weeks out from the Big Day. I stopped by in person to speak to the manager, and we sat down and figured out the details on the spot. He even took the time to drive up to the venue in Poulsbo to test out the drive time to ensure our food arrived on time - which it did! We ordered 6 party platters with toppings and sides in separate party trays. Everything was delicious and plentiful - folks had tons of leftovers to take home!
I have been coming here on and off for literally decades. It’s legit Mexican food, which was a rarity back in the day in Kitsap but is still pretty rare today. The food is good, the staff is always friendly and amazing. The prices are reasonable (especially the margaritas!).I highly recommend checking this place out for a relaxed meal.
GREAT food and incredible service. We've been here many times now and have never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing. I LOVE their chili relleno. Once we went in and there was a sassy/rude customer at the counter making ridiculous demands. The staff handled the situation with grace and ease. I mentioned that I was sorry they had to deal with that situation, giving them a moment to vent if they needed, and they just smiled and said, "I think she is just having a hard day." Such a professional and kind approach.
been here over a dozen times and never disappoints
I paid $13 for enchiladas Jalisco and when I got my to-go box home, I opened it to find what looked like three little street tacos--dry corn tortillas, a little filling, no sauce and a tiny sprinkle of cheese on top. Oh, and a little scoop of rice and a little scoop of beans. My husband ordered a chimichanga and on the way out I noticed that it had been the daily special, but the (cranky) counter girl decided not to tell us and charged us full price. I didn't say anything because it was my husband's birthday dinner and I didn't want to make a fuss. I used to like this place but I feel kind of insulted by the bad service and really mediocre meal.I won't be back.
Burrito plate was excellent. My 1st visit there, and I would like to return sometime soon. I'll give the Chili Rellenos a try.
Best Mexican restaurant I've ever stepped foot in.Prices are fair, the food is high quality, and the portions you can't complain about(Huge). They served fountain drinks, and Horchata, and a bunch of other options, they have daily deals, and they have some pretty dang good salsa and chips.Highly recommend a visit if you have an itch for Mexican food.
We found this place by accident a while back now every time we come thru Aberdeen we stop to eat dinner there.I absolutely love love love their carnitas. My husband has something different each time and always says it is good. They also have Mexican coke which is my favorite drink.
So this place is pretty good. The food was very authentic and the margaritas were delicious. You have a mix of Mexican and Tex-Mex options. You go to the counter and order what you like and they bring the food to your table. Everyone was super friendly and the price is amazing
