Who would think that this Mexican food place inside a gas station convenience store is a hidden gem?! I got my birria taco craving satisfied! I got four of them and they were huge! I couldn’t finish them. I also got the bacon wrapped burrito, fish tacos ( for my son), and melon and strawberry and cream drink. Unfortunately, they ran out of the horchata. Nevertheless, everything tasted great!!!
I went to this taco shop expecting to grab some rolled tacos and a California burrito.Jokes on me and that is okay, instead of rolled tacos I ordered regular tacos because they do not have rolled tacos.I also ordered a California burrito.1. The regular tacos were okay, the flavor the beef should have was just not there. So to dress that flavorless beef up I put the orange habanero salsa on my tacos...really great spice...no flavor. I switched to the green salsa and boom I found the flavor. Spicy garlicy perfection!2. The California burrito was a bean burrito with a few specks of beef, and a huge glump of guac. It just was not great and the tortilla was great pity the beans had no flavor.I don't understand all of the elements are there they could be so great they could possibly challenge my sanoran Mexican food love, but alas they have a lot of work to do.
Had our very first order of Taco Rico tacos.... and all I have to say is these folks know to make a taco!!!! they were all amazing!!!
