Since the pandemic, I've been getting the 80/20 ground beef from Minder. It is about the same price as a grocery store when not on sale and the taste is much richer than what you get from a store.Also do not forget about fresh seafood that is flown in and available on Saturdays with Sam.
This is a wonderful place to get meat. We buy our prime rib here every year for Christmas dinner. They also have premium cuts of beef and they're bacon is great.
Thought this was just a wholesale plant. Nope! Delicious meat and seafood, fresh like a butcher shop.
I've noticed sometimes the meat is good sometimes bad . We preordered this time and when we got the meat to the car we noticed ALL the pork was green. We got harrassed by the rude receptionist trying to gey them to replace it. Beware. Check all of your meat.

My first interaction with Minder Meats was over the phone. I had some questions about meat packages such as biproduct meat for my pet. I felt that I was inconveniencing the lady on the phone and she was very short and even condescending. Everybody has a bad day, right? I chalked it up to myself misinterpreting her tone of voice and the way she addressed me. Not very friendly at all. Fast forward a couple days- I decided to go down to Minder meats. This is my first time asking for what I was looking for as well as my visit. The lady in the office was short, and again she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her with my questions and I was very rushed. Not a good way to treat a potential customer. I’ll go back but only because they provide certain packages that Farmer George’s doesn’t. I had actually been to Farmer George’s shortly before I went to Minders and the lady there was helpful and actually thanked me for my purchase and for stopping by.
