Food is excellent. It is so NICE to have a bar with pool tables, enough so you don’t have to wait for a game to end just to play with a buddy. I love the quaint “home style” feel it has, the owners are humble and kind. And the kitchen staff works their bum off. Friendly red head we had tonight. She was a doll, we were hidden in a corner and she still made sure to check up on us more than twice!
The food is always amazing! And the owners are spectacular! Honey walnut chicken ? my favorite thing there.
Food is not consistent, service other then a few workers is shaddy at best. Don't try to ask for anything if they're dropping your food off at the table they ignore you. Don't try to say something special about your food a.k.a no onions or chicken anything specific they don't understand how to do that.
So I've been going here since I moved to Washington 6 years ago been my go to for asian eats and idk what the new owner is doing but I LOVE IT food is even better new menu items I am a fan don't sleep on this place
Fantastic bar and with delicious Chinese food! Lots of fun with a great hometown bar feel. The staff is attentive and the owners are approachable. You can tell they want you to have a great experience.
Bbq pork was dry and the portion was so small I weighed it at home. It was under 2oz of bbq pork and when divided with my friend we both had 4 pieces. I paid $13 for that before tax I think. The orange chicken and general tso were both battered in a thick, cake-y tempura batter that absorbed the sauces almost instantaneously, and the meat inside wasn't particularly tasty. Now, I've never had this problem here before, but the entire experience was so dismissive and unprofessional i figured it might just be new workers, but everything from the core ingredients to the sauce was so unsatisfying. My total order was $60 before tip. My friend and I ate about a quarter of it and didn't bother with the rest, and we so hungry for food from this place all day beforehand. I will visit again soon and hopefully they will have improved back to how they used to be.
Food is decent but the environment sucks. It's loud, cold and lacks seating.Great if you are there for the bar scene, but there is definitely not a dining area.The temp feels as if there is no heat running in the place. The pool tables are spread into separate rooms instead of maintaining a dining space. It's pretty unfunctionable for customers, unless your there for the bar.I really hope they save this place.
Went to the Golden mum tonight, had been a few weeks since we had been in. Wings were so flavorful, and so were the balls. Absolutely amazing, the new owners are doing a great job! Missy was our bartender and she is amazing, fast, friendly and without a doubt one of the best around! Great job Golden Mum!
This place is awesome!! Wonderful owners, great food, even better service! The bartenders know how to pour em, always a fun time!
