Authentic Mexican food. Seems fresh each time, made from scratch. Nice wait staff. Good portions, huge margarita, always delish!
I hardly ever write reviews, and never have I given a poor one, until now. I was so excited to try this place, only to find immense disappointment. This is the blandest Mexican food I've ever had. Azteca would've been better. I truly don't understand how it has such a high rating. Unless you're adverse to flavor, spice, and quality. This is supposed to be Camarones al Mojo de Ajo and Pollo en Mole. The tiny amount of guac you get is not worth $5, and the rice is literally just white rice. No flavoring at all.
Yummy Mexican food and very friendly service. The meals should come with more beans and rice when you pay the extra 2$ though and the rice could be tastier and be real Mexican rice not just plain white rice but that’s my only complaint. Nice casual atmosphere and reasonably priced meals. Enchiladas are great I would go back!
Julio's is the best Mexican restaurant in Snohomish county. Look no further, this is your spot for dinner. I absolutely love this place. The staff is so kind and attentive. Margaritas are amazing, make sure to get the top shelf. The tacos are so delicious, I absolutely love the chicken and carnitas and the don Louis burrito had wonderful flavors.
THANK YOU JULIOS!!!!!! After living in Los Angeles for 20 years I got spoiled with amazing and authentic Mexican food. A family friend recommended Julios. It literally brought tears to my eyes the first time I had one of their entrees. Truly authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend!!!!
Food was good, service was fine but they didn't check for vaccination cards (as mandated) and the (only) host/server wore his mask so only his bottom lip was covered and didn't even make an effort to pull it up when at tables.Neither my friend or I will be returning while COVID is still such a major problem and honestly maybe not even after as this lack of public health safety makes us question if the restaurant is also as negligent with basic food safety requirements.
I really want to love Julio’s… the food is delicious on a good day, but very inconsistent. Sometimes the chicken is very seasoned and flavorful, other times it is super bland. However, my biggest problem is that we only order take out from here and every SINGLE time, they get our order wrong. It is extremely frustrating. We have ordered many, many times because we do like the food, but I have to check my order and there is always something wrong or missing. I’m not sure how they get it wrong so often, but then you have to wait even longer for them to make/remake your food and they may offer you some chips and salsa and half an apology at best for the inconvenience. (They do not offer complimentary chips and salsa for to go orders. No matter how much you spend there.)
Hidden gem in downtown Bothell it’s small but quaint. The food here is awesome especially their street chicken tacos with rice and beans. The staff are really nice too.
I lived in Los Angeles for 20 years and one of the highlights is the Mexican food of all varieties. We've been here in the Pacific Northwest for 4 years and we've lamented the loss of good Mexican food. But... There's an oasis in this vast dark Mexican food-less desert and that oasis is Julio's! ?
