Hana Sushi is my favorite restaurant in Bothell. The fish is awesome, and the teriyaki is the best. give this place a try. they will not disappoint.

Don’t recommend the place. The udon half bowl was burned and soup has strong burning taste. When we showed this to the waitress, she said it happened and just left. In addition, we have waited for 40 mins for the food to arrive. Sashimi was so so as well (we ordered salmon and scallops). Wondering if they served faster, the udon may not be burnt?

Post-Covid, no more circular conveyor belt sushi here. Everything is made to order but it's delivered to your table using a linear conveyor belt directly to your table.Ironically, now that the sushi is made to order, it seems like their sushi's quality has changed - for the worse. Let me explain. Sushi rice (and NOT the fish) should be served somewhere between room temperature and body temperature, every sushi connoisseur knows this. Since Hana no longer prepares sushi for their since-abandoned conveyor belt, the rice doesn't have time to acclimate to ambient temperature before someone consumes it. And now, their sushi rice comes directly out of a Sub Zero refrigerator, stored way too cold, affecting the Sushi experience.I've told the servers this several times but nothing is done. I work down the street from this place and had planned on eating here for lunch maybe once a week but those plans have changed since they won't listen to their customer's concerns.

To start: this place has fantastic sushi; they could ramp up the service though. I ordered takeout for a spicy sushi combo and asked if I could pick the Nigiri. The lady said “chef’s choice.” I asked what comes with “chef’s choice” and the lady said “things like salmon, tuna…;” I asked if they could just do salmon and tuna and they said no. I asked if I could pay $2-3 more and just get salmon and tuna, and they said no. Looks like I was stuck with the “chef’s choice.” They said the food will be ready in 40 minutes. I show up in 40 minutes and they quickly take my money and then the wait began. The sushi chefs put out sushi like a powerhouse for the people at the restaurant who likely ordered after me. I sat; and sat. 30 minutes later I got my sushi. It was sushi I would say is worth the wait, however. Objectively better than Sushi Zone. The miso soup was a nice touch too. This might be a 5-star if you dine in, vs. takeout.

First time here. It was very yummy! Definitely will be back.

The place was busy, so a lot people like it. I've had better sushi other places. I think the food here wasn't flavorful. Crab used in California and other rolls was dry. Cucumber seaweed salad seemed like it was served with very bland soup poured over it (I'm used to a sweet vinegar taste). Tempura was good, but the dipping sauce was bland as well. Fish and other ingredients were fresh, but for the price, I'll go somewhere else.

Tasty food, good vegetarian options, polite staff, clean, nice atmosphere.

Best sushi I’ve had in a long time and I’ve had a a lot of sushi! The staff is so friendly and accommodating too. Can’t wait to frequent this place more often.

Amazing quality of fish! Great presentation.

Really great place for a special birthday dinner. We had a some appetizers, deluxe sushi platter, and two kinds of rolls. $75 for dinner for two which was a great price. Lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and the food was delicious. Very glad we found this spot.
