I'd like to support this business but I cannot. Being berated by the manager regarding vax cards was off putting. Harassing customers is not good for business. She spoke in a rude, pitched voice when I asked about the inconsistency of the vax cards when visiting this location. As a manager myself and a family of independently owned business, this is not how to treat customers-remain professional while faced with questions or step down from management - it impacts customers, staff, the community. There are plenty of businesses in King County that do not harass and lecture customers over vax cards.The staff at this location are very friendly and do a great job. It is a lot to ask young people to manage the vax cards with the public. I doubt they have training about how to handle all of this. Requirement? Well, there are tons of businesses not forcing this- some people are vaxxed but asking them for their confidential information is too far. It is easy to shift business to a free atmosphere. This is in no way a statement against vaccines. Your choice! This is specifically about being treated rudely by a manager. The three coffees procured - two were tossed - not yummy.
They made me the iced version of what I ordered. They then remade it, the employee then made it seem like I ordered the wrong item. I asked for a chai tea latte with oat milk and never said iced. They also didn’t clarify my order. After driving away, I am not even sure they made it with oat milk like I asked. I guess ill know if my stomach hurts in an hour...
Comfortable coffee shop with some great flavors of coffee and tea. This serves as a good spot to drop by for drinks while enoying some of the shopping and dining of the downtown Bothell area. There is outdoor and indoor seating available, just note that inside people are often working and it's so quiet it's almost like a library.
This place is a great environment for getting work done. My favorite is the Jasmine tea here. It has a bold taste and very aromatic, unlike the other teas out there that taste diluted
Consistent attention to quality coffee. Last time I was there the barista wasn't satisfied with the shot he pulled for me. So he pulled another and apologized for the extra time it took.

Been a fan of Cafe Ladro since my Fremont days in the early 2000's. That location was so hip, you better put your best hipster pose on.. and know your coffee. Barista was always friendly and efficient.Ended up in the Bothell area, errands run in Edmonds..so to this day I frequent both those locations. Edmonds has some issues with incompetence (like getting your drink wrong), and sometimes discourteous staff. Bothell location has way better service.They have the best coffee I've tasted in the area along with Uptown Expresso. These days, I usually order the turmeric latte. And their pastries are the best for a coffee shop, as well.I bring family here from out of town for the divine Seattle coffee experience.And they have all the milks, vegan pastries.I overlook the occasional saucy/clueless employee.. and due to it's top-notch coffee and pastries, give it a 5-star rating here.
