Decidely Average. The hostess might as well of come from a funeral. The rest of the staff were cheerful and expedient. The food looked wonderful, but was less so. The French toast was dry and tasteless, as though it had barely touched the batter. My companion agreed. The maple bacon tasted like a mouthful of salt with no discernible maple flavor. The coffee was not good nor worth the cost. I the eggs, fried over-medium, were perfect. Also, there were veggie options for my partner.

Alexa's Cafe is a gem in Bothell! When I first looked at the menu many months ago I was disappointed that it didn't have any vegan options. My sister moved to the area and loved this spot, walking distance from her apartment, and I couldn't exactly go with her. Fast forward to this year, I saw the menu changed and now it's so vegan friendly! Now this is a must-stop every time I visit my sister in the area.Logistics: located on a pedestrian-only street with free street parking available all around, seating inside & out to enjoy the nice weather days.Drinks: I am a huge fan of the lattes- that is my go-to drink here. Everyone also loves the coffee (they use local Caffe Vita coffee).Food: so far I've had the California burrito, huevos rancheros, and veggie scramble - all vegan with the right substitutions (Just Egg for eggs, no cheese, etc.). When I got the California burrito I was really confused because it's not actually a burrito, more of a quesadilla - it was delicious. I wanted to get the Beyond breakfast sausage inside but they happened to be out of it that morning. Huevos Rancheros had amazing flavor. Scramble was delicious with veggies and toast on the side. Their roasted potatoes are fantastic though unfortunately not vegan as they are cooked in butter (I truly hope they change this and use a plant-based butter in the future!). For a non-vegan option, my sister loves the Benny's.Vibe: love the decor and atmosphere! It can get a bit crowded and loud when it's very busy but it's not overwhelming like some breakfast spots. Free wifi makes this a good spot to work from as well.

This is your average brunch. Their scrambles are 3 eggs and I wasn’t full. Their side spinach is garlicky and delicious. The service requires flagging people down regularly. My disappointment lies in the cinnamon French toast. I was imagining cinnamon bread. Instead it was heavily dusted with dry chalky powder. Why not mix that in with the egg batter? And how is that different from normal French toast? I find this place adequate and won’t be back.

Incredible gem of a place! I had to custom order french toast to be vegan, and the manager created a recipe on the fly in the kitchen to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Amazing service and food and coffee! Highly recommend.

My new favorite brunch spot. Such a great place to eat. The wait staff were very attentive. The food was so good. I had the NW Benedict and my girlfriend had the alexa special. There was a wait time but thats to be expected from a cafe like this. Perfect.

Great staff attitude throughout and delicious food - no wonder it was full and busy.Pulled pork ciabatta was delicious and satisfying, and the ciabatta was fresh and perfect. Italian dressing on the salad was tangy and delicious and make the salad so much more palatable.

Alexa's deserves the full 5 stars for being plenty staffed on New Year's Day, and for delivering on friendly service, great food, coffee, and atmosphere. They have a cool outdoor covered eating area too, but we opted for indoor. There's a market place inside that has local artist and food wares. Tables are neatly spaced apart; it's the first place I've dined in where I actually felt the distance rules were being followed. I got the veggie scramble which I liked BUT the veggies really needed to be cooked down more and I should have asked for no olives (didn't notice that reading the menu). Their wheat toast was uhhmazing (not made in house but still) and I liked the sausage patties for an add on. I'd come here again.

We ordered lattes, avocado toast, and a veggie scramble. Positives: friendly service, cozy ambiance, and fresh ingredients. Negatives: food was rather bland and their latte was too milky. Definitely expected more for the price tag.

Food was great. Really loved that they had a keto plate and it was wonderful with the house made hollandaise sauce!!!

Excellent food and service! Wide variety of menu items. Super friendly staff. We will be back!
