The service and atmosphere was great…. However we found the overall style of cooking was more akin to a watered down “white people friendly” palate and had zero in common with a more traditional sushi bar. Perhaps a great intro to sushi but this place belongs to the uninitiated and. Give a one star because of how unauthentic my experience was
Ok quality sushi. Placed an order for pick up and was told it would take 30 minutes. Got there 30+ minutes later and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. Another 30 minutes later they finally brought the food. Not once did anyone give me an update. I would ha e killed some time at the bar but apparently nobody works in that part of the restaurant. Just walked by me like I was invisible about 15 times. Definitely will not return...
Sake was really good and service was fast and friendly. Sushi on a conveyor belt is kind of a strange gimmick. Maybe it’s good for kids. Tako sliced too thick, needs to be very thin or it’s just too chewy and unappetizing. If they focused on the incredible ingredients they’re working with instead of the gimmicks it could be a great sushi spot.
Can't go to the movies without stopping here afterwards. Their conveyor belt is kept fresh with lots of choices. It's nice whether you want to sit relax and talk with somebody or if you're looking to get in and get out. I haven't had to wait too long for a table plus I really enjoy the atmosphere
We absolutely love Zen! The food is always wonderful and tasty. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. Especially Amber! We've had her as our server just about every time we've been into Zen and she is always sweet, helpful, and very bubbly. She always gives the best recommendations for food/drinks depending on what we like or feel in the mood for. Thank you Zen and Amber!
Neat atmosphere, pretty good sushi, and pleasant staff. As a sushi-go-round what comes to you might not be what you want, you might be waiting for something specific, but you can still order things. There are some items that are only made to order. If you don't have a good signal for the online menu it might be a bit of a pain to use but food will come to you either way. Also, since the theater is right there it's a good place to go after a movie.
Such an amazing conveyor belt sushi bar! Everything was so delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We got seated right away and the staff was incredible and so on it. Thank you!
Food was good, but drinks from the bar took way too long to get. We were pretty much done eating before they got to the table. They were sweeping the floor right in front of our table stiring up dust into the air. Their dirty dish cart looked disgusting with blackness on the outside.
Service was pretty few and far between, most of the food on the belt had been sitting so long that the things that were ment to be crunchy were soggy. And it seemed like there were only 2 maybe 3 kinds of sushi being made unless you make a special order and even then it wasn't a wide variety unfortunately. The mochi was the worst of it all very plain gross and hard and waxy are the only ways to explain it. I left full but dissatisfied the only plus was when they asked if we liked the mochi we said no and they took it off of the bill so we left a decent tip! Also the Wasabi looked like playdough and didn't have much tast and the ginger was dried out :( Not gonna be going back anytime soon.
Belt sushi was delicious with lots of options. The restaurant is clean and stylish with a huge Buddha watching over you while you eat.Our sever was super friendly. They are at limited capacity so we had a short wait but they have a little waiting area so no biggie. This was my second visit here and both times the service was good and food was tasty.
