Delicious vegan food in cozy space with very friendly staff.
Everything we have tried at the Wild Oat has been absolutely delicious. Try their scrumptious breakfasts and their lunch, or just go for coffee and pastries! Their cake, scones and muffins are to die for.
Great sandwiches and the best French Onion soup. Friendly staff. Would definitely come here again!!
Beautiful, peaceful place with a chill vibe and delicious, excellent quality conscientious food.Crystal and crew care, and it shows in everything they do in this shop. I highly recommend the scone (no heavy cream! WHAAAAT?!) and handmade chai. You won't be disappointed.
Visited here from out of town. So tasty! Crystal, the owner, is also the baker. Everything is made from scratch. We had ordered a cheesecake bar, banana nut muffin, the gluten free Wild Oat cookie, and a blackberry scone with lemon glaze to go. We couldn’t help but sample them before leaving the cafe. They were so good, we turned right around and ordered another of each in case the snow prevented us from being able to return the next day for more! We also ended up ordering breakfast. I love that the short stack pancakes came with a side of peanut butter for the child in our group. I also appreciated how the child’s hot cocoa came out ready to drink—not scorching hot. Husband and I had the breakfast burrito. Perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Everything was reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be returning any time we are in B-ham!
Amazing food! We had the Philly and the burger, both were 10/10. Always excited to find all vegan pastries as well, and the scones didn’t disappoint. Welcoming and kind staff too. Definitely will come again next time we’re in town!
What I generally love: Committed. Vegan. Storefront. What I specifically love: Salad dressings! The Caesar and French dressings are sublime. And when placed atop a large, fresh garden salad, I remember what food is supposed to be: tasty, nutritious, and of the earth. Okay, full truth be told, on the weekend if I’m feeling decadent, the cheesy “eggs” are beyond insane. Also, I’m a diehard coffee drinker and only drink tea if I am sick. But Wild Oat’s London Fog tea with the hint of lavender has made me happily inconsistent and sometimes that tea really helps me get through a cold, blowy Bham day! If I luck out and chocolate espresso cake is in the case, I’ll get through the night with a smile, too! Thank you, Wild Oat, for persevering in tumultuous times and sticking to the well-executed plan of conscientious cuisine! Serious yum!
Fresh daily, I saw several people waiting in line taking photos of the mouth watering bakery goods. The organic menu was wonderful. I'll be back.Thank you, Dan
