Googled lunch spots and found this hidden eatery. The prices (even happy hour) do not reflect the quality/quantity of their food for some items. We had the halibut fish and chips (sweet potato fries), teriyaki satay and the Baja tacos. The fish and chips were by far the best. The best sweet tater fries I’ve had in Bellingham. The teriyaki satay was delicious (20/10 on flavor) but for the price (during happy hour) not worth it. $10 for 6 balls smaller than a ping pong ball. And I was so disappointed with the “baja tacos.” They really should rename them as “uncooked tortillas with tomato and cabbage.” I didn’t taste the fish at all and could hardly see it (2 Lego-sized pieces per taco). The tortillas were charred on one side and uncooked on the other. The sauce w/ the tomato was good though.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh Ahi Tuna Salad.I was also surprised at the accommodating service staff who made me feel welcome and filled my every request.I’ll go back, especially on a sunny day when I want to hang out watching the boats, ducks and seals and drinking a NA beer.I hear the fish tacos are the best!?

This place is awesome! I was in town for work and just googled for good restaurants. I thought I’d give it a try without looking at any reviews, and it paid off! Cute restaurant with a lot of charm, nice views of the yacht harbor. I arrived just after a large engagement party and the hostess let me know to order quickly to avoid a wait. I went with the salmon risotto, it was delicious! If you’re a glutton and prefer large portions over quality, go somewhere else, but if you value quality food, this is a great spot!

From the moment we walked in the door the service was off the charts! Our server this evening was Megan, she was a delight! she was friendly & welcoming and well versed with the menu. We had a wonderful appetizer of rubbed ribs, & dinners of salmon tacos and halibut tacos both were beautifully plated- just the right combination of flavors and ingredients & prepared to perfection! We will be back soon!Megan is an asset!

Svea was a fabulous server! She was attentive, friendly and welcoming even though I arrived close to closing. She (nor anyone) made me feel rushed even though I didn't finish my meal until well after closing. She took my order accurately and was brought to me the same way!I ordered the Ribeye dinner medium well and was just a touch on the medium side but it didn't matter because the cut of meat was well marbled and so still very tender even though I waited until it got cold to eat it. I especially loved the perfectly crispy outside edges! In the picture it might seem too dark to some but it wasn't burnt, just seasoned well and perfectly crispy. The garlic mashed potatoes were a bit stiff and dry, not as creamy as I prefer a bit bland.I also really wanted to taste their Garlic Parmesan Fries so I ordered those in place of the seasonal veggies (I know, I need the veggies more)! These were the best I've ever had! It was a generous portion and I couldn't stop eating them until they were gone, which is why my steak got cold! The garlic shavings and grated parmesan were perfectly layered within the abundance of very tasty fries which were cooked just right too!The side Caesar was OK, could've used more dressing though. The atmosphere was much more comfortable and relaxed than you would expect judging from this high quality and elegantly prepared and presented meal.Well worth the cost and I highly recommend (obviously)!Oh and yes there is a full bar for those who wish to partake!

Mid food, mid service, burnt fries, they don't give the right sauce and when you ask tor refills they don't even give the same size cups. I got a literal light bulb. The waitress didn't even ask if i wanted a to go box. Bro i wanted the rest of my burger and she straight up took it and threw it away. Idk i thought the experience was funny but definitely terrible service haha.

Party of three, arrived sober and friendly, walked from our hotel. We got our first round.Crab dip delicious, chips could be better.Salmon risotto- nasty, and NOT risotto, not sure what it was.Cioppino was dry and skimpy.Beef dip sandwich was ok, FRIES were awesome, fresh and hot. My side Ceaser salad was ok.We were never offered a second round of drinks, we all wanted another one or two.Oh, you will be charged extra for mayo, don’t ask me.With a little more try, this could be a nice place, but not last night…

Great menu, kind people, amazing atmosphere.A nice balance of sophistication and a rustic appeal.Definitely a must see if you're in the area.

Small, very over salted salmon, small side of overcooked chicken breast and chunky cheesecake… what a disappointment!

Just returned home from lunch. Ordered the Fall Scallop Salad and a side of steak. 3 scallops. Steak cost $9 for 4 scrawny pieces. Maybe a 2 oz steak at best. The actual salad was tasty. Service was slow. Mean with the coffee. Beautiful views.
