Unprofessional owner and staff. Over priced and not helpful at all. We visited from out of town, and were excited to try authentic Indian food, but not satisfied at all. They served old rewarmed food, staff not friendly and did not get our order correct. I would not recommend this restaurant to friends and family as the service was not good.
If you’re waiting on delivery you might wait awhile, us drivers are tired of rude merchants & will refuse their orders when they show up. I’ve picked up here more than enough times to see they don’t appreciate their drivers & will not take anymore orders from here. Last time I was told they’re still putting the order together than she proceeds to pick up & hand me the bag that’s been sitting on the first table to the right the entire time. Waste someone else’s time. Time is money for us drivers & customers blame us when food is cold. Good luck
The quickest restaurant where they gave us our food! I was expecting a long wait time like other restaurants and I was surprised with how efficient they were. There wasn’t a lot of people so it seems like you can always come in without a reservation. The workers are kind, are clear, come check if everything is going okay and will re-fill your water without you needing to ask.
THEY COMMIT CREDIT CARD FRAUD HERE. Check your credit card statements because they will overcharge you on the tip without your authorization. Several calls and still no resolution. Staff are THIEVES.
I honestly have mixed feelings about my experience with this restaurant. It has a great atmosphere and the wonderful smell of Indian spices are in the air when you walk in. Staff seemed friendly and prices are fair. The portion size is just ok. I would not recommend the lamb curry. The sauce was very runny and was not like any lamb curry I've ever had at any Indian restaurant. The lamb Korma was really delicious though.
I really enjoyed the service and the lamb curry! Sorry, I mean the lamb korma. ?Edit: Have to unfortunately drop a star because both my girlfriend and I got sick after eating here, the stomach pains lasted a few hours. Maybe some form of food insensitivity, unsure.
This place is AMAZING! It’s the best, most superb Indian food in this city, out of all of the Indian places I’ve tried, and my Dad has taken me to Indian places since I was around 9 years old. Mike and Kamal and the whole staff are the nicest, most approachable people that work in this type of setting. This comfortable and inspirational setting is unique, complete with music and Indian-based movies. I never want to leave! I am forever coming here, and I will be sad if I ever move. It’s also right near Ross, Marshalls’s, and the Dollar Tree. Thank you for all that you do! This is my most important review to date!
WOW! So I'm really weird about trying new places, but this place was the BEST experience I've ever had.The staff/owner was genuinely super friendly, kind, and generous. I felt like royalty! The restaurant was clean and OH MY WORD. Their coconut chai tea and buttered chicken were so good I couldn't believe it was real.Thanks to this place, I love Indian food and will be going back every chance I get. The prices were good too!Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic all around. If you're thinking about giving them a shot, do it!No pictures because I was way too busy stuffing my face to take any photos.
Great food and great costumer service. I ordered the paneer masala and it was amazing. my brother goes almost everyday and today I went with him. I have been to all the Indian restaurants here and it is by far the best one
I planned this order out this morning with GrubHub and could just pick up and not go inside. The taste of India calls himself "All Day Cafe" online at GrubHub and they canceled my order *on purpose* because they wanted to charge us full price and add more things to make more money when we got into the restaurant. Now my kids and I are not able to eat and we have not eaten today and we have to wait another hour or more to get some food. There has been a problem with major disrespect from taste of India on Guide meridian in the past too. Good food, terrible owner.
