This used to be my favorite place for burritos and I was constantly recommending it to friends and work associates. Then today they refused my order for delivery saying I had canceled too many times and refused to discuss it further with me. I have canceled exactly ONE time, and have spent so much money here over the years. Shame on Taco Lobo for treating a loyal customer this way.
My partner and I ate here today. We had the fish tacos. Staff was excellent a cozy lunch spot. The tortillas phenomenal. That's where the fun ended. I try not to be rude but it was an undeniable seasoning issue here. My food clearly tasted of "Past prime" vegetables My partner was a bit more harsh comparing it to wetdog. WE LOVED THE TORTILLAS!!
We always love taco lobo. The food is delicious, the salsa bar has yummy options, and the people are fabulous.
I tried ordering on-line through DoorDash for pickup and after an hour the order was still not confirmed. When I showed the people working their said, “not out problem.” EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL—STAY AWAY!!!!
Had dinner here tonight and like everywhere else in town, prices of entrees has been raised to cover food costs. We ordered the enchiladas. They came out in a timely manner after we were done devouring the chips (delicious, crunchy, fresh, salty tortilla chips) and salsa (not as spicy as the 6 pepper sign above it, but fresh and delicious nonetheless). The plate the meals came out on were not warm and the enchiladas were room temp at best. The hottest thing on the plate was the beans. I inquired with the front counter about the temperature of the food and the gal said she brought our food right out from the broiler. I said, the inside of the enchilada was not hot. She went over to the line and put a gloved finger inside whatever the already prepared chicken was stored in. And then it all crystalized for me. The food being served is not cooked to order, it's being warmed up. This method might fly for to go burritos but it absolutely does not fly for sit-down paying guests shelling out $40 for dinner. Are you kidding me?
Usually, this place is good, but the quality has gone down hill. There were TOOTHPICKS inside three of our flautas! My date could have hurt herself or worse.Never again.
The meat tasted very strange and I was overall extremely dissatisfied with the food. The burrito was terrible, especially for the price.
Great food for a really good price
Very kind and friendly staff. Great food. Nice size. Could not finish burrito. Nice price.
Stopped by and grabbed a burrito asada with rice and beans to go. Order took around 8 minutes or so, total came out to 18 dollars. There was a one dollar to-go fee.Nice space, had bathrooms, a salsa bar, and plenty of seating. Good atmosphere and customer service, the employees seemed like friendly people. The burrito was serviceable, but I don't think it was worth the money. A Que Tacos has a supreme burrito for $8 that's probably a third larger. However Taco Lobo is downtown, has plenty of seating, and shows sports for those who are into watch tv while they eat.All in all, nice spot, but I doubt I'll go back.
