We had a great breakfast, our service was great, and the ambiance was great. Couldn't ask for better for our group on Sunday morning.

Food not very good; luke warm at best. The waitress brought the soups and salads with the dinner. She told us we needed to let her know when we ordered that we wanted them before the dinner. I’ve never been to a restaurant that you needed to request that. Every place I’ve been those items are always served before the meal.

They were sold out of the banana bread French toast among multiple other items. Sad that the whole reason I picked this place for brunch didn’t happen. We had the traditional Benny and the short rib hash. Both were ok but nothing special. I wish the potato’s had more going on, they weren’t crispy and could have used more seasoning and like green onions or something to make them tastier.

We were seated on the patio for dinner service. We really enjoyed the setting and the music playing in the nearby beer garden. The hostess told us the kitchen was behind but the timing for everything was perfect. Our server was efficient and friendly, although she wasn’t very helpful with the menu and didn’t ask if we like our food. We started with steamed clams and mussels. They were very good. My guest and I shared the Captain’s Platter and Pesto Alfredo. The pasta was decent but nothing special. The Captain’s Platter was a huge disappointment. The slaw was not very good and we didn’t have more than a bite before moving on to the seafood. The fish portions were tiny, not much more than bite size. Disappointing to share. The halibut was the smallest piece and very dry. The two oysters were quite large, too large to be palatable. This entree was made cheaply. I understand the cost per plate goal of the kitchen but this dish is not worth the price. I liked the vibe and service, next time I’ll get a burger

Food was good. We split the Captains Plate and that was just the right amount for us seniors. Two of the items on the dessert menu were unavailable leaving virtually nothing to choose from so we passed. Very disappointing.

Dan the Trivia guy was so fun! We had a great time trying to guess the answers. Our waitress was awesome, but I'm so sorry I can't remember her name. She was playing the trivia with us too. The music was a bit too loud for our conversation. Had my 91 year old mom with so it was difficult for her to hear us. However, she too had fun with the Trivia. She ratted us out that we googled the first answer. LOL! Mom got the Monte Cristo Sandwich. She did not like it. It's ok, you have to try it once. My friend and I had the California Omelet. It was AWESOME! Even good the next morning as leftovers. We are moving from Bellingham, so this was a great way to add to one of our great memories of Bellingham.

Nice establishment in a quaint part of town. Good food and top notch friendly service.

A nice setting with outdoor seating with good food and friendly staff.

Had a wonderful lunch with friends from out of town-California Grilled Chicken Salads and California Omelets to eat. We were seated on the patio in the back in the shade under umbrellas and were allowed to sit and visit (for four hours!) almost undisturbed. The music started on Skylarks outdoor stage, and we listened to music until the dinner crowd arrived. Kudos for Skylarks delicious food, great waitstaff, and lovely outdoor venue on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Thank you Skylarks!

Excellent service and chicken salad was great and my friend had the farmer’s veggie omelet and it was delicious. Thank you!
