I ordered the pan-seared salmon ($27.75). The texture of the salmon was good. Neither the form nor seasoning had any flavor though. The mashed potatoes tasted and had the consistency of cheap instant potatoes (I feel like they likely could have been) The broccoli was very fresh looking and had a great flavor from the grill and seasoning. My wife had the Blackend chicken cowboy salad or something like that ($15) She wasn't too excited about it and scored it a five out of ten. I ordered a long island iced tea ($10) and although it appeared fairly clear which is often a sign of a generous alcohol content. After drinking it, someone could have told me it was a nonalcoholic version and I would have believed it. My wife had two drinks and made the same comment about feeling like they forgot the alcohol. We only have a coup of drinks like that a few times a year so it's not like we have a tolerance built up either. Our bill for two dinners and three drinks came out to $82 which we kind of expected, but I had higher hopes for what we would receive in return for it.I'm really not the type to be critical about a restaurant, but this left an underwhelming feeling I may save someone else from.

I’ve always had good experiences at the restaurant but yesterday my 5 friends and I came into Scotty Browns for drinks and dinner, we were seated and greeted by our waitress. Right off the bat, she was very rude and wasn’t personable. Once getting our food, I took a couple bites and I felt a long hair in my mouth. I pulled it out of my throat and mouth and was completely disgusted. I wanted to throw up. I told the waitress and she was very unapologetic and dismissive…she asked if I wanted a new one and I replied yes. Once receiving the new plate, I wasn’t even hungry anymore due to the amount of disgust. I’m not the one to post bad reviews on local businesses but this was the worst service that my friends and I have ever received.

This new version of Scotty Brown's is a vast improvement over the old one. The atmosphere is much less hectic as well the service was pretty good. Staying along the line up improvements the menu is better than in the past. I was able to have my fish grilled instead deep fried for my meal and the overall appeal both in appearance and taste of the food was better then in the past. Nothing spectacular about it just a good casual place for a basic meal and drinks.

We absolutely love Scotty Browns! Great happy hour, great atmosphere, great service, and great food! New location is well designed and has excellent bathrooms!

Was disappointed, my partner and I ordered fried with a side of bbq, they brought us ketchup, we asked again for bbq, brought us another container. It was still ketchup again. We told the waiter, she said we were wrong because they don’t have ketchup ? but it definitely was… then took away all our sauces. It was just an odd experience. Also got the cod bowl, it was okay. The salad that comes with it seems misplaced, like a hodge podge of two salads mixed together . I did LOVE the espresso martini though. Overall was disappointed in the service and so so pricey meal.

I like this place. They always have a great service and good choice of mood. The atmosphere is pleasant and the music is not loud, so we could have a nice conversation.

Decided to have my New Year’s Eve dinner at Scotty Browns. First time in the new building, atmosphere was a five. Drinks were a five, ordered a Bellini and it was delicious! For dinner I decided on the fish and chips. My fish came to my table raw!!! It was rubber! Notified my server about it. She took my plate back that had my cole slaw and fries on it. She returned with a small plate that only contained two new pieces of fish, without the fries or coleslaw. I asked her about the fries and coleslaw, she offered to grab more, but I declined because I knew my family wasn’t going to eat all of theirs. I was still charged $23 after not receiving a full meal and being served raw fish. Waitress could have been more aware and more professional so I will give service three stars and clearly my food a one! Over all I was highly disappointed in my visit as it was supposed to be a nice evening of drinks and good food, but I was left eating off of my families plates. For the price of the plates for what you get I would expect better food service, especially in a town with so much competition when it comes to dining out choices that aren’t restaurant chains. But they do have a unique atmosphere for the area!

wonky special's pricing and policies make me want to go out of the way, like way out of the way to avoid this place. 1 beer, fish & chips, and a soda set me back almost $50 after tip. Portion sizes are small and I was still hungry afterwards. I gave this place 2 tries and was disappointed both times.

Walked in for dinner with another couple we're friends with to celebrate some wonderful news we received, each of us with a child, and we were informed that we could not be accommodated. Flabbergasted at the idea that a party of six was too much regardless of our willingness to wait, I asked what options we had. The gal told us we could split into two different tables. That obviously wouldn't make any sense to do. I eventually suggested we could all fit into one booth, which easily worked. Shortly after being seated, my wife went to the restroom to change our newborn's diaper, and found the bathroom completely lacked a changing table. Her only option was to change our son's diaper on the bathroom floor! I'm pretty appalled at that. If they don't want families with well-behaved children patronizing their business, just post it on the front door and save people time. Another issue we had is that the space for a guest to sit and eat their meal is not large enough. Two of the people in our party - neither of whom I would classify as obese - mentioned it made it uncomfortable as the edge of the table was right up against their stomach. Never been to a restaurant with sitting room that is that tight. My last issue with our dining experience tonight is that we could hardly track down our waitress to get any refills on any of our drinks. Not impressed. Decent food but wicked expensive for what you get, and they clearly don't value families patronizing their business, so we'll save them the hassle in the future.

With a group of over 20 Professionals meeting after work we tried to meet up and have drinks at this place. We were not greeted. No one welcomed us. And when we saw that there weren’t enough seats we tried to move over to a couple other empty tables and were scolded like children by the staff. We were told that you’re not allowed to seat yourself or move tables. There was no sign that said you were not allowed to seat yourself. But we weren’t asked if we wanted a drink or if we had been helped at all. After leaving I tried to call and ask for the manager to let them know how their staff was treating people and they told me they were too busy to talk to me. I worked in the service industry way too long to give this place any of my money. Plus they were overcrowded like crazy
