I found Scone Grown through the maze of the Granary building. We wanted to give it a try and had the vanilla scone.The cashier gent was very friendly and also had wicked cool tattoos. We ordered the vanilla scone bc. we wanted the most classic thing on their menu. It was very good, a little hard crust on the outside and moist on the inside. The scone came with jam and a coconut cream topping. Both very good (if you like coconut). I’d love to try one of their lunch options with the tofu ‘chicken’ nuggets.It was great for Bellingham, except the price. $5 plus tax plus a $.50 tip was $5.94… for a scone. A vegan scone. No butter. All the French bakeries would roll over in their grave. I’ll try one of the lunch things, but I’m not able to spend $5.94 on a gourmet vegan scone often hence the 4 stars.

Great, friendly customer service :) I enjoyed a slice of vegan cheesecake! The prices are little on the spendy side for the portion size but I understand that vegan products require a labor of love and that costs are going up everywhere in our supply chain. I’m excited to see what kind of energy comes alive in this place! I’ll definitely be back to try their salads and other offerings. They also only use compostable serving boats/silverware which I love!
Their gluten free cheesecake is a godsend. As someone who has a dairy-free and gluten-free diet it is incredibly challenging finding baked goods and I love that it’s a rotating flavor. Just had the peppermint chocolate and it was incredible. Very reasonably priced. Their banana bread is fantastic too (I can’t believe it doesn’t have eggs). Plus their staff is so friendly!
The food here is absolutely incredible, staff wonderful, and the perfect location by the water! While I admittedly am not a scone fan, these scones could almost convert me lol ;-) If you love scones, you'll love these! Their cheesecake is incredible, so rich and creamy! Their loaded tofu bites in all forms are my favorite, especially when served with the greens and rice, plus avocado! Whether you're vegan or not, if you like good food, you have to come here!
My family loves SconeGrown. All the scone flavors have been delicious and the Umami Bowl is soooo good :) The Ghost Pop Tarts for Halloween were great! We're happy to have this place in Bellingham.
Wow!! I never really liked scones. I certainly would not go out of my way for one. That has changed since eating these scones. They are incredible! I’ve tried every flavor and they are all divine. But this place is so much more than scones. Their savory lunch options are delicious. I have loved everything that I have tried. Great food and awesome people. I highly recommend!
Loaded Nugget Bowl is amazing!! Parking was a little inconvenient but we never mind the little walk as it’s the same everywhere else in town. Had a hard time finding it the first time but we’ll never lose it again, 10 out 10!!! Scones are delicious too!!
One of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. Definitely going back when I visit Bellingham each time. Really nice they had so many gluten free options, which is hard to find sometimes.
Everything they serve here is incredible! The service is nice and timely as well. Vegans and non-vegans in our party loved the scones, and their savory bowls are phenomenal!
