First let me say go show them the same love they showed us last night. The food was banging. Got it to go, as we pulled just as she was about to call it a day, and she didn't turn us away. Thank you so much for that. Nothing better than good food and good friends. It created a great late night dinner for old friends catching up after 10yrs. Service and Love at this spot is 6 stars! Go show them some love and your stomach will thank you. Buen Provecho.

Large servings. Good food. Friendly, accommodating staff. Nice atmosphere. Outside patio and 2 floors for eating inside. Cons: beans need to have more of a lard or bacon taste Dishes are pricey

You feel like family! Their salsa is homemade and so delicious! We look forward to going here once a week and has plenty of vegetarian options too?❤️ The black bean enchiladas are so good!! Yum! We stopped for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and we weren't disappointed. Plenty to choose from on the varied menu. Friendly and attentive servers. Big plates which leave you full and satisfied. Our meals were flavourful and authentic
This Jalapenos is typical of the restaurants in Fairhaven. Friendly, attentive service, great food, wonderful atmosphere. The large Nachos Supreme will feed 3 people, 2 if they're really hungry.
While visiting my daughter, who recently visited to Bellingham, we discovered Jalapeno's in the charming area of Fairhaven and ended up going to dinner there several times over my 3 week visit. The service was friendly, polite and fairly fast. Being from Southern California where we know our Mexican food, I felt the cuisine was pretty authentic - freshly made and flavorful. The homemade Sangria was delightful with our dinner. We particularly liked the downstairs semi-enclosed patio area just off the street. It was later in the evening so quite pleasant there. The top patio was always full. I had the low carb fajita salad - very fresh, filling, and tasty; and their signature chili rellenos which were very delicious. My daughter was happy with her enchiladas and quesadilla. Meals are freshly made to order and worth the extra time to prepare them. The only downside is I felt the tables could be cleaned off a little better between patrons.
