This was a hard one for me because the staff there were really cool at least for me. I had a few friends complain about them but that was not my experience. The menu items were awesome but they are not capable of dealing with large numbers of people. So if it’s busy at the brewery, expect to have a long wait time. Even though that was communicated, it doesn’t mean it can’t be improved in some way. The food I had was really great honestly except the French fries. They had a weird smell to them and a bad taste. It took us a bit to figure out what was wrong but we realized that it must have been fried in old peanut oil, because it smelled like old peanut oil and tasted really off. If you eat it with a dip you might not notice as much. Although I could smell something was weird about it but yeah. That was disappointing. Food was great though otherwise!TL;DR: Nice staff unless under too much pressure. Too many people and your wait time will be 40+ minutes. Food was good but I experienced old cooking peanut oil in the French fries which was gross.

So good!! I got the Baja Bowl, but the burgers looked really great too. Hands down best thing I’ve eaten in a long while. Especially when you combine how yummy it was with how good I still felt after eating it! Fresh, flavorful, and filling. Super friendly too.

I tried out New Public Food Truck for the 1st time today during Bellingham’s Vegan Week. Let me tell you, if you haven’t been here yet you are TOTALLY missing out. I am from Los Angeles, vegan food is currently high in demand and there are a lot of competitors. This food truck BY FAR surpasses many of the vegan places I have been to in Los Angeles. WELL FORGET LA, HELLO BHAM! Their food is off the chart, I tried their nachos and their special: Bean & Cheese pupusas. Did I mention already it’s 100% VEGAN!? Please go try their food out, support your local food trucks, and venture out to The New Public Food Truck.

Amazing burger and fries often with amazing specials. 10/10 part of the joy of being vegan in Bellingham

Their food is absolutely amazing! The Hen Solo is my favorite (I have dreams about that dill sauce), but I've loved everything of theirs that I've tried! I'm always excited to try their specials and new menu items! I only wish they were open more days per week so I could enjoy their food more often!

This was horrible. I ordered a Ruben and tater tots and they said it would take 15-20 minutes and it took an hour. The Ruben had no flavor and the tater tots were massacred in the fryer. They were just crumbles and had a horrible plastic after taste. Also I was up charged for the tots and the gf bun so I ended up paying $30 for a horrible meal. I will never go back here and have already texted my vegan friends not to even try… too bad…

This has been one of my favorite places to eat since it opened! The food is epic! The owner is a master at creating out-of-this-world menu items. Everything is vegan which is a huge selling point for me, but I have taken non-veg friends and family and it is a hit every time. There is burgers, nachos, sandwiches, tacos, bowls, and more. If you get a chance, check out the breakfast/brunch. You will not be disappointed! Some of my favorite menu items are the Chick-Fil-Yay (special and very limited, if you see it, GET IT), the gyro, the hidden dragon, and the tempeh Reuben. Yum, yum, yum!

I’m convinced that the Gambler burger with fries + nacho cheese sauce is the perfect meal! Also I appreciate that the food truck sells cans of Spindrift because I was dining at Wander Brewing and don’t drink alcohol! Yay for vegan food and non-alcoholic options! New Public ROCKS! ❤️

Great vegan food that is not trying to be healthy (in a good way)! They have a very unique menu that is pretty large for a food truck. Eli was great behind the counter as well!

I am so grateful to have New Public in town but if it wasn't I would make the drive anyway, the food is truly so good. I have so many favorite menu items from here, it's a shame to just list one and not them all. The carne asada fries! The hen solo! The chick-fil-yay! The hidden dragon! Vegan drumsticks! How does one choose? And how do they do it?! Just know that anything you get from New Public is going to be high quality, absolutely delicious, and made with love. Anna & New Public team, we are so lucky to have you!
