The grocery store is great and staff is very helpful and kind. The restaurant is HORRIBLE!, I used to go there everytime I crossed the border but this will be the last one. The staff very rude, racist with their own compatriots, this is the worst kind of racism. They were giving priority to white people even when they arrived later than other Hispanic ones. They made us wait longer for our food and wasn't as good as it used to be. The lady was so rude when paying our bill. I'm not used to that treatment and no need to endure it.What a shame. I have zero tolerance to racism.
La Gloria is a must-stop for us whenever we are in Bellingham, both for the market and the restaurant serving great Mexican food at really reasonable prices.Our family are big fans of the tacos, tamales and the super sized sope.The house made salsas - especially the red salsa - are especially good.
This is my go to place for chicken enchiladas (the red sauce is amazingly delicious) and is the market for all my Mexican cooking- the fresh tortillas made in house are always still warm when you buy them, the meat selection is second to none and they always seem to have various ingredients I need. I come down from Canada to shop here all the time. Seriously aa++
My lunch was not as good as it was a few weeks ago. My son returned his burrito as it had red sauce all over it. He was not impressed.
Great Mexican market and restaurant. Real athentic food for a good price. Don’t let them get you at the register for being white though. They like to up the price on white people.
Really let down with the blandness.I got chorizo tacos, Al pastor tacos and a tamale. All were just really bad. I hate negative reviews but I just wish it was better.I tried my friends carne asada burrito and was also let down even more than before. Just not good at all. For an authentic style place, this is plain unauthentic.My favorite thing was the green table salsa. I’ll never be back.

The tacos here were fantastic! We're from Texas and nobody had authentic tacos they scratched our itch like the ones at La Gloria.
Had the birria de chivo. A goat based birria. So amazing!
