Cioppino The view was spectacular and the restaurant has an inviting layout. The one major downfall was my cioppino was lukewarm. My husband’s hamburger was very good. I rarely send anything back but this dish was the exception. Dish promptly returned and seemed likely a minute or two in a microwave. Piping hot and no flavor. Bread was brought near the end of the meal for the sauce. Very disappointing as the restaurant was highly recommended and busy.
This place is still struggling to recover from the pandemic so I would wait if I were you.Slow (but friendly) service, no one communicated, lack of water and coffee refills, for a table of 2 only one entree came out, the hollandaise was anything but and super salty, the potatoes came out of the bin in the shelf in the kitchen for all to see, never got my sugars with my coffee which I explicitly asked for and asked for milk not cream.
First and foremost, our server, Mia, was a joy. She knows her food, gave detailed descriptions of things, made spot-on recommendations, and had us giggling. She's rare, and was alone worth the visit. And wow, the food truly stood out. Didn't expect that. We went for oysters, which were fresh and perfect (3 kinds, we got the Samish pearls). But the mushroom risotto slayed me. Really fresh and bright with multiple mushroom varieties and textures. Flavorful, light sauce, and not at all cheesy or gluey. The eggplant dish with soba noodles was also haunting. Lots of flavors and textures in a savory sauce (my wife drizzled some over her salmon). The eggplant was tender and sweet, and I didn't even notice the skin. Lots of other veg in the dish, and with the rich soba and add-on smoked and grilled tempeh, which brought its own flavor and texture to the party, my mouth was in heaven. Next time we'll try the cassava fries. (Multiple vegan options.) The restaurant has a panoramic view of the bay. Killer sunset.
The service was very POOR! My crab cake was removed before I was even finished. The waitress took it without a word and I was too surprises to speak. It was difficult to flag down our waitress even though the cafe was not busy at all. She walked by us and ignored us repeatedly. An order for a half sandwich was served as a full sandwich. This was to be a special birthday luncheon, but it was disappointing due to poor service.
Beautiful views of The Sound. Reasonably priced. We enjoyed their Ahi Poke and Crab cakes. Attached to a Hilton hotel property. Parking a bit of a challenge if busy.
Food was delicious, service was fast and courteous. Would definitely recommend
Eggs Benedict were fabulous. Our server, Anya was a delight. We sat outside for breakfast with blankets provided along with the overhead heat! It was an all around joy-filled experience.
Food was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Good value and great ambience
Samantha our waitress was amazing. Very friendly, kind, helpful. She made our experience great.
Since we have smaller appetites now, a couple of us each had the crab cakes and shared a Caesar salad. It was just the right amount and delicious! Sometimes Caesar salad’s can be very tart. This one was crunchy and the dressing just right.
