Fast service for the amount of rolls we ordered. Beautifully plated. Delicate flavors. Tempura was a perfect combination of crunchy outside with soft inside. Friendly staff. Generous chef.
So far, this is the best sushi restaurant I have dined at in Bellingham. It is a small and personable environment. The owner is always there working. He is extremely friendly, professional, fast and cares that his customers enjoy their experience. His staff there are amazing also. The menu options are large and delicious. This is a phenomenal spot to go to for a quiet, fulfilling and nice evening.
Just don’t order the beef udon.I was surprised the the udon came with paper thin slices that couldn’t even fill a single spoon. When I expressed this to the waiter, I was informed that 4 pieces is standard. They give you way more than that at Edo Japan…The bento was below average but the sushi was good.
Delivery. Ordered seven basic rolls, edamame, and miso soup. Good quality. Absurdly small portions. Checked the box for “utensils and napkins.” Received one plastic spoon. No napkins. No chopsticks. No pickled ginger. No wasabi. No soy sauce.
Grey service and delicious food
So amazing this is the best sushi place ever! The employees are so kind! The owner is so sweet and so amazing!! You should definitely come to this place.
This was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! The presentation and service we incredible! I had ramen and a roll and both were delicious- highly recommend
The sushi was delicious, beautiful and masterfully plated. The ramen was perfect and aromatic. The owners are friendly and the restaurant is clean. We came in with 7 people and he quickly and efficiently got all our orders out by himself. You must try this place!!
Not really impressed with the Beef Ramen that I had. The noodles that they used was an instant noodles you can buy at any Asian grocery store, and the soup tasted kind of bland to me. It was not salty enough for me to say that it's good plus the disappointment that they used the instant noodles. But I managed to eat it all even though it wasn't good, because I don't want to waste it. Another thing I found very disappointed is their gyoza. I love it pan fried, but was told by the waiter that they only prepare it deep fried, and that was a big deal breaker to me. I would at least give it a 3 star rating if I can get it pan fried.
Solid sushi, made fresh and well if not hugely fast. Its a one man show, but excellently prepared, presented, and conceptualized.
