Fantastic service! Our server seemed to be a little out of it initially and made a small mistake with remembering an ingredient in a menu item but they solved it immediately and went above and beyond to make us (my picky mother) happy! We (me, my mom, and my dad) ordered "The Picnic", of the meats the brisket and pulled pork were fantastic! The BBQ sauces were very good as wellThe chicken was a little too smokey for our taste but it was really tender and perfectly cooked, my dad enjoyed the ribs, and they both enjoyed the sausages. We ordered collard greens, macaroni, corn bread, and chili for our sides and they were all INCREDIBLE! The cornbread is the best I've ever had and the chili was delicious! No beans which was different than we were expecting but wow it was good, perfect amount of spice ?️Our server gave us 2 desserts in the house, we got the buttermilk chocolate pie and the pecan pie. The chocolate pie was very rich and the pecan pie was so warm and the pecans were beautiful!Highly recommend this place! Great job guys :)

The brisket was nice and moist, and the pork ribs were tasty as well. The Mac and cheese was quite good, but the collared greens surprised me at how good they were. Definitely a great find in WA

We’ve been here twice and the chicken is delicious!!! We now have a new favorite BBQ restaurant. Delicious! The staff was super friendly and genuine. Both times we arrived right before closing and weren’t rushed or made to feel bad. Highly recommend!

Ribs tasted burnt and potato and Cole slaw yuck. loved corn bread tho. Not comfortable seating hard chairs.

The term "Texas BBQ" is used all over the country, but referring to yourself as "Central Texas BBQ" is a bold claim and can be hard to back up. I was raised in Texas and recently lived in South East Austin. I have eaten a whole bunch of Central Texas BBQ. The term "Meat Coma" comes to mind....Jack's has a good vibe when you walk in. Stevie Ray Vaughn and Willie on the wall and David Allen Coe music playing. The staff was excellent. There is a decent selection of beer and a full bar.I ordered the Texas Trinity plate...brisket, pork ribs and sausage so I could taste a little of everything. I chose the jalapeno cheese as my sausage.First thing....I used no sauce. In Central Texas asking for sauce is like asking for ketchup for a plate of Spaghetti you bought in Tuscany. A look of dismay will generally be the response to the request. When eating good BBQ you want to taste the meat and the smoke. Sauce only covers those tastes. That is why almost all the BBQ chains "sauce up" their often over cooked or under smoked meat. Anyway...back to "The Trinity"....The sausage was tasty, and had a nice snap to it when you bit into it. The pork ribs were also decent. I had the collard greens and Texas Caviar as my sides. The greens were some of the best I have ever had....amazing. The Texas Caviar, a cold blacked pea salad was also very good. My wife's slaw and potato salad were fairly bland. What about the brisket you ask...? Well....the brisket was the worst thing I tasted at Jack's. It reminded me of typical chain brisket....lets say, Terry Black's. I mean he bark was there and so was the smoke ring, but the taste was lacking. One piece was from the thinner part of the brisket and was very dry. The other pieces had decent fat and juiciness but still lacked that Central Texas taste. I don't know what Jack's uses for rub or what type of wood they use but their qualities did not transfer to the meat.I know some would say giving three stars is harsh but brisket is the King of Meat in Texas. It is the bedrock of Texas BBQ and at least on this trip, Jack's did not deliver the Central Texas brisket they advertised. Neither my wife and I finised our brisket and declined when offered a take home box.If you are in the mood for BBQ, give Jack's a try. It is better than the other local options. Most of the food is pretty good and if you do choose the brisket....there are bottles of BBQ sauce right on the table.

Popped in to try the breakfast tacos. Ordered way too many, expected them to be street taco size. These were more like baby burritos. Two is sufficient. A bit dry, definitely recommend grabbing extra salsa. Friendly service. Restrooms were missing toilet paper and pretty dirty.

We ardered the big BBQ plate for our group of 4 and it was more than enough food. BBQ was good. Sauce was good and service was great. We had a good time and a good lunch.

We purchased three family meals so we're able to sample everything and everything thing was very good. The ribs are rubbed and smoked. I read a review that said, "A lot of their flavors are very one note." besides this being a very Bellingham thing to say, it is simply not true. The sausage was a delicious combination of smokey, cheesey and spicy. The brisket was amazing and my wife loved the collard greens. Best of all might have been the homemade pecan pie. The staff were very friendly. They were very attentive during our meal. 100% recommended.

Open, airy barbeque place to find Texas style smoked meats and sides. Soft and tender, house-recipe sauce served on the side. Ample space inside, high ceilings, some free parking in the adjacent parking lot. Generous portions on the plate options. Tasty sides. Full bar on site. Smoked mushrooms on the menu and "Texas caviar", beans, Mac and cheese sides and also salad options for vegetarians. Hankering for bbq meat? Worth a visit. Family friendly. Bellingham is the newest addition to this Seattle based small chain.

My fiance and I got the brisket and ribs. The brisket was worth maybe 4 Stars but the ribs were pretty lame and expensive(I would much rather have half the portion at the same price for good ribs). Ribs felt undercooked in places, chewy, hard to get the meat off the bone. Maybe it's a style that people enjoy and have nostalgia for from Texas or something. I however want my ribs to be falling off the bone. A lot of their flavors are very one note. Most of their seasoning just tasted like black pepper, which is all you'll taste in your mouth for 20 minutes after eating from here. Ranch beans were okay. The greens were possibly the best thing they had along with the brisket. They forgot to include my white bread so I can't comment on how that was. Might be back for the brisket. Couldn't pay me to eat those ribs again. If you want ribs, do yourself a favor and make your own at home, that way you know they'll be fall off the bone delicious.
