This place is amazing! I had the Mama Hen (croissant dough filled with pastry cream) and a peanut butter roll. Absolutely delicious. Come early and come hungry! Highly recommended!!!
Wow, so much goodness! We've had the olive oil cake, chocolate croissants, chocolate torte, danishes, and more. Spectacular! It's probably good that we don't live down the street but I can't help but be sad we don't. If you haven't visited, you must! Highly recommended.
I tried quiche(mushroom and spinach) and plain/chocolate. They were all good and the person, who took the order, was nice enough to check if the quiche had onions in it bc I was sharing it with my pups!
By far the BEST pastries in town - I go every weekend! Everything is delicious, freshly made, and I can’t get enough. The croissants are genuinely the best I’ve had since France, and that’s no easy feat. The coffee is also some of the best in town. Don’t miss this cute neighborhood spot!
The best pastries in Bellingham. Everything is amazing. Special ordered a 15-layer (yes 15 LAYERS) chocolate cake for my dad's 80th birthday and it was amazing. We go weekly for croissants, cookies, and specialty items like the Mama's Hens Nest. So happy they are in Fairhaven.
First, it is a great pastry place. The coffee is good and the sidewalk seating on a nice day is fantastic. You can sit, have a nice coffee and people watch in Fairhaven. Love this place!
I was so excited that they make kouighn amman, but when I bought them, they were under cooked and goodey. Not crisp and crunch like the way they should be. So I wrote the business owners. They couldn't care less. I got crickets. So for the price, I'll go to Mt. BAKERY, where its always baked perfectly crunchy!
I’ve been hearing for years about how this is the best bakery in Bellingham, because of limited hours and my availability I’ve just never made it in, until today! To my sadness I was pretty let down… the apple cider Bundt cake was grainy and tasted more of clove than anything else, the hazelnut chiffon cake tasted like dry sponge sandwiched with Nutella (I mean filling is delicious, who doesn’t like Nutella but dry sponge on a chiffon cake… ugh), and the BEAUTIFUL apple turnover type pasty (called something else that I’ll butcher if I try to spell) was toasty and beautiful on top but I’m afraid that’s where it ended; with a flavor lacking mushy applesauce center, and undercooked below the decorative top and especially on the bottom.Maybe I’ll try again… I really expected this to end my search for an inspiring bakery in Bellingham that doesn’t solely rely on window appeal to satisfy my insatiable sweet tooth. Heavy sigh.
Please update your google hours. Here I am..the shop is supposed to close in 20 minutes and it’s already closed, and I drove 25 minutes to get here! ?
Kouign amanns are my absolute favorite pastry, but I often have a hard time finding places that make good ones. I really enjoyed the one I had here as well as the focaccia I ordered. The other items in the window looked scrumptious as well.
