My husband and I used to go to the horseshoe late nights in college, we went back for breakfast today. Delicious chicken and waffles, French toast, hashbrowns. Yummy mimosa too. We love the horseshoe, the history to the place and the fun Bellingham staff make it that much better. So happy they're still open after all this time. Let's get to 150 years!
Pretty awesome place to eat. Don't be put off by the weird and dingy interior. Loved the food, great flavor. Would give 10 stars but only giving 5 because the tea isn't sweet.Andrew is also a great server.
First time I've been in there in almost 7 years. It's changed, it's no longer gloomy and depressing. It's well lite, you can see the cook line, and the staff were quite nice nice and friendly. Sadly I left my favorite dark green bandana behind when I left ? I did t realize it till later that night. They had good chicken strips so it was worth losing it.
I've been going to the Horseshoe for the past 9yrs. I have no complaints what so ever, the staff are great especially one individual which is great to talk to and also beautiful. The food is awesome and their ranch dressing is, well...... I can't get enough of it. Great place and atmosphere.
It was neat getting to see the different ceiling holes from years past. Look up and you'll see years of history in that ceiling. The hash was great, coffee is local which was prime, even catered to our friends specific vegan diet.
The knee must be near by cuz this is a hip joint. xDFrench dip, Kahlua n coffee and lots of dad jokes.Really worth stopping in.Lily was amazingly accommodating even though the house was packed.
I came in with a group of friends on Friday night, very late, and got seated immediately despite the place being filled. Our server was awesome, some ginger gal who attended to all our needs! The food was real good, too- we got lots of breakfast items. new favorite diner :)
The oldest running diner on the west coast. While it used to be open 24 hours, they have since changed that. The food is mediocre at best and the drinks are stiff. It's a dive bar, a hole in the wall, and if these walls could talk I'm sure they would have some stories. Frequented by locals, and by locals I do mean cooks, wait staff, other bartenders, concert goers, and the occasional vagrant or old timer that's been kicked out of the bar next door. They have darts, a pool table and a juke box on the wall. All the necessary accessories to any good dive. While this place has been a staple my whole cooking career I only give it 3 stars because over the past couple years it's charm is not as it once was. The ever turning tide of college kids that come through year after year has definitely taken its toll. It's become niche, a fad, another hipster joint. It's sad. I love you ranch room and always will.
A typical diner with sub-par food.Ordered the eggs benedict or their version it was ok>but would have preferred the classic version...good service...
The ambience was friendly old local. The bacon and eggs were hot and good.Bloody Marys were good. The pickled asparagus had a nice touch.
