Great food, amazing staff. We came mid brunch time and it was super busy. We had to wait about 20 to 30 mins for a 6 top, but we're able to get coffee in the cafe that is attached to the restaurant. When we were sat, we all ordered different plates and each of us loved what we ordered. The chef even came out to say hi at the end. We felt very welcome despite the busy day.
Really good ambiance and service was great. Wonderful coffee (drip was killer) but the food was eh. Potatoes were dry and some underdone, I got about two spoonfuls of sausage, too much cheese on the scramble. Syrup for pancakes was also not very good. I’ll come back but I don’t think I’ll order food…
Exspresso and a Coffee.A wonderfully simple great tasting Lemon Desert. 3 's centered perfectly on top! Clean, Quiet, small firplace buring very nice. Wonderful Person behind the Counter ?. Thanks! Mask Up/\Smile Safe....
Went in on a Saturday for a coffee with family. No line and went to order. The lady at the counter was extremely rude. After ordering a coffee and asking the family what they wanted she literally yelled at us “want anything else!” With a scowl on her face. Everyone in the family couldn’t believe that she would yell at us. She continued to be rude and short with us and then left as the barista took over. Never again will I go there. And no I’m not a “Karen or a Kevin” and have never given a bad review but couldn't believe what I just saw.
Delicious and creative menu. Staff was super friendly.

Being on a three-week road trip, we were often faced with American-sized "hearty" breakfasts. Mounds of eggs, toast, mixed meats, etc. While fun in the moment, we later suffered "breakfast regrets." Such cannot be said for Harris Avenue Cafe. Set in the old part of town, surrounded by a truly eclectic array of fascinating shops and works of art, its exterior and interior fit right in. The best way to describe them is "real." Real people serving real people who are eating real food. What I enjoyed most about the cafe was the size of the portions. When they sacrificed in girth compared to traditional American breakfast shops, they more than made up in flavor. While it was a busy Sunday shift, we never felt hurried. We got to eat and converse at our pace. This cafe has it all figured out.
We made a reservation and were seated right in time. The service and food were great. I was impressed with the choice of non dairy milk: coconut, almond, and oat. The sauce on the poached eggs was excellent and flavorful. I will definitely go there again.
